Adriens Point of View - "I cannot believe that I overslept!" I said to Plagg, who was hovering beside my head as I pulled on a shirt and some pants. "I cannot believe what you did with Marinette." Plagg said. "What happened with Marinette?" "Well, you took her home as Chat Noir after defeating Gasman with Ladybug," Plagg said, trying to get the confused boy to remember, "and then you started kissing her, and then did some stuff that I'm trying to forget. You need to remember, I see everything that goes on when you're Chat Noir." Plagg said, shaking his head. I felt my face turn as red as Ladybugs suit. Everything came rushing back to me. I must've still been groggy from the gas since I didn't remember what happened as soon as I woke up. "I'm not going to school today." I said firmly. "Good choice, kid." Plagg said. "I'm going to go take a shower." I said, heading towards the bathroom since I didn't take one last night. -Time Skip- I got out of the shower and dried off my soaking wet body. I put some clothes, and walked out. Looking at my phone, I saw that Nino had sent me a dozen texts all asking where in was. Nino- Dude, you're starting to worry me, where are you? Adrien- I decided not to come today. Nino- Why? Adrien- I overslept and by the time I woke up, half the school day was done already. Nino- Wow. To catch you up on the events of today, Ms. T was our substitute and says that we will have her for the remainder of the week. Adrien- *groans* Nino- We got a new student today, her name is Jessica and she is really nice and sat where you usually sit. Adrien- Wow, is it always so eventful when I'm absent? Nino- Nah, dude, Ms. T made it sooo boring. Adrien- Of course she did, it's Ms. T! Nino- Oh, and Marionette was acting super weird, falling asleep and even yelled out during class. Of course I knew why. I felt so guilty, I knew I'd have to visit her as Chat Noir and apologize tonight. ——————————————— Marinettes Point of View - "Ummm..." I said, trying to come up with a good excuse for the mark on my neck. "No excuses, Marinette," Alya said, as if reading my mind, "tell us the complete truth now!" My face turned beet red as I thought of what to say to them. "Maybe I can convince her to tell me." Jessica said to Alya, kindness filling her voice. I'd never say it to Alya, but I'd much rather spill to Jessica over hersince she didn't know me as well and would probably not make that big a deal over what I did then Alya would. "Alright,"Alya said, clearly annoyed and concerned about me, "but you better tell me everything." She said, pointing to Jessica. Jessica nodded. Alya went downstairs to the bakery. "Okay," Jessica said, looking me dead in the eye, "I promise that I won't tell Alya anything that she will freak out over." I mentally gave a sigh of relief. I don't know why, but I felt like I could trust Jessica. "Will you please tell me what happened?" She said, her brown-green eyes filling my view. "Do you know about Ladybug and Chat Noir?" I asked, as she was from a different country. She shook her head. "Well, they are Paris's two superhero's. They fight villains all the time." I looked at her to see if she understood. She nodded. "Well, I was in the park while they were fighting a villain by the name of 'Gasman' when he released a green gas that makes you all dizzy and start acting like you're not yourself, like how people act when they're drunk." I said, trying to sound like I was a passerby and not the hero fighting the bad guy. "Well, after Ladybug and Chat Noir defeated the villain, Chat Noir came up to me because I was stumbling when I was standing still, due to the gas, and he took me home. As he was in my room, the gas got to him too, and he fell on my bed before getting up, kissing me, then... then we did some stuff that involved a lack of clothing." I said, not wanting to get into detail. Jessicas mouth was open in shock. She just sat there in silence for a few seconds, processing. "Alya!" She shouted, and my heart dropped. She said that she wouldn't tell, and she lied to me. Alyas head popped up again, "What happened to her?" She asked. "She fell and hit her neck on the table." Jessica said, pointing to a sharp corner on my desk that could have easily made the mark. My heart filled up again, Jessica was covering for me. I felt like I could trust her with all of my secrets that were bottled up in me, but of course, I wouldn't. "Why didn't you just tell me that?!"Alya said, looking at me. "I-I thought that you-you'd laugh at me." I said, saying the first thing that came to my mind. Alya glared at me, then dropped on the floor laughing. "Oh, Marinette," She said in between giggles, "you are just too ridiculous sometimes!" She said, still laughing. Jessica started laughing too. I looked at her, I'd have to thank her later. Eventually, I gave in and started laughing with my friends on the floor. My stomach felt a little funny, but I gently put my hand on it, and it went away. Jessica noticed this and stopped laughing. "What is it?" Alya asked. "Nothing, just that all this laughing is hurting my stomach." I said. This caused Alya to laugh even more, and Jessica just smiled, looking at me strangely. I looked at her, questioning her strange behavior.
