Remington's POV- He didn't say we, he said I. Someone else may not have caught it, but I sure as hell did. He didn't want me to go with him. No, Renatus didn't want me to go home. I had thought I was prepared to face the possibility of Renatus rejecting our mating, but hearing it from Raclaus brought all of the insecurities and hurt the forest had soothed away right back.
