My Vampire Father part 2

My mother's eyes still have that faraway look in them. Well, it now makes sense as to how I came to be. I still can't help but wonder why she is telling me this now. I have always wanted to know, but there is something that is pressing on her to tell me all of this now. I stare at her, noticing how she softly lets her hands play with her mane of hair so like my own.     As if coming out of her own mind world, her eyes focus on me. I see her swallow as she closes her eyes in deep thought. Her striking blue and green eyes snap open, I see the determination in them. So this is where I get my attitude I thought to myself. She opens her mouth as there is a knock at the door, interrupting us. She tells the person to open the door. As I watch, the HeadMaster bows his head in respect and guilt, a man I have never heard stumble over his own words before, now mumbling before my mother.      "A thousand apologies High Priestess, but I must tell you that there is a messenger at the doors with a message for you. I couldn't get any information out of her but she told me it was urgent. Please forgive me." His eyes never left the floor as he mumbled to my mother. Poor little stout man, I thought to myself as I look toward my mother. Her eyes are alert, her mouth set. She closed her eyes and whispered "Please Hecate, let it be not what I thought" then she sat up even straighter and said "Bring her in please." With that, the little man ran down the hall as fast as his little fat feet would, almost making him wobble like a penguin.     I tried to not laugh but a giggle passed my lips. My mother saw an gave me a small smile. But that smile was lost when she saw whom the messenger was. It was a girl, with my eyes.     We had the same amethyst eyes. I could tell she was a vampire. Her long black hair was so dark it was blue. Her pale skin almost had a pearl-like shine. Her eyes landed on me. At first, she was puzzled. Then she tilted her head and tried to see through me. After a few moments of silence, she shook her head and walked into the room, closing the door behind her. She stepped closer to me. Her long cool fingers touched my arm and I was hit with another vision.     My head leans back against the top of the chair as I am standing in the rain, under a tree. I am behind a castle. I look to my left, seeing a group of men I have never seen before. They walk in silence toward the castle gate to my right. The men never notice me, I wonder why that is. I look down and I am wearing clothes that aren't mine. I shake my head and a wave of black falls. I get it now. I am this strange girl with my eyes. There was a scuffle and she turns to see the men gather around the guards and knock them out. They sneak inside and scatter, agreeing to meet back at the hill they all met at. The girl runs inside using a servants entrance keeping to the shadows and out of sight. She heard women scream in terror as the strange men went room to room, in search of a particular someone it seemed. They seemed to not care about anyone but the one they were trying to find. One of the men decided to grab someone that seems to be close to this girl. A raven-haired beauty with slanted brown eyes. He yelled "Come on out you traitor! I will kill this kill if you don't. I hear you care about those in servitude to you." With that, the man placed a knife to her throat. I felt my blood boil from staying to the shadows, knowing I wanted to help but I needed to know why they were there. Then my father comes down the stairs. His booming voice echoed throughout all the halls, asking "what is the meaning of this, Alister? Let the girl go, she means nothing to you."     The man laughs evilly, tossing the girl aside. A thought crossed the girl's mind, I am glad he let her go. Alister laughed again, then runs toward her father. she watches in horror as Alister tries to stab him with a blade. Her father dodged easily, smacking Alister with the back of his hand, knocking him down the stairs in a tumble. It would have been funny had he not had such a murderous look in his eyes. Then he said "Oberon, we know you have a half-blood out there somewhere. We have someone keeping an eye on her. Now, if you don't want us to touch her, you must come with us."     Her father just stared, lifting his perfect eyebrow. I felt how shocked the girl was. Does she have a half-sibling? A brother or sister? But half what? She was so lost in thought that she almost missed her father saying in a very low voice, almost silent "BellaDawna"     With that, Alister knew he had Oberon's attention. "So, do we have a deal, Traitor? You willingly come with us and we leave everyone here and your precious daughter alone." That smile was made from nightmares. Oberon's shoulders slumped slightly and nodded. He walked down the steps, allowed one of the men to place silver chains around his wrists and bound them behind his back. Throwing a knapsack over his head, they led him away.     The girl lifted her hand away from my arm. I blink a few times as I try to focus. I was back in the Headmaster's office with my mother and my half-sister. I look toward her, tears were falling from her eyes silently as she eyed me. I could feel her questions vibrating off her body. I stand up. She was a little taller than me, maybe two inches taller. My eyes are also spilling tears.     Because of me, my father had been taken away from my sister. I felt guilty for existing. I heard a soft sob from my mother. She was muttering to herself "it's my fault. All my fault."      The girl finally spoke. "My name is Ivory Raven Dragoshade. I am your half-sister, BellaDawna."
