The tragedy
Please not my baby, she's just a kid…” the woman begged, her voice trailed off followed by a screech. She was pinned down by two burly men, her dress half torn. Beside her was a man laying lifeless on the ground, a gunshot hole on his head. Her husband.
Ahead were loud chatters as two men nailed a younger boy to a wooden cross. His scream filled the whole place. Neighbors locked their doors tightly at the sound of their house. “ You messed with the wrong person. And you pay with your blood.” the leader of the mob said as he ordered his men to smash the kid over with the car.
Her baby cries filled the whole place and the mother struggled to leave their hold to save her child but she was slapped hard. Her body was weak already and two of the mobs had taken turns to r**e her, so she was a little conscious and just wanted to save her baby.
“ The boss agreed we can pay next month, you can't go back on your words now, please let me speak to him, just don't kill my kids,” she cried. “ Mom… please help me.. I'm in so much pain.” Her son cries out as they nailed him on the cross, his scream echoing.
“ The boss changed his mind, deal with it.” He pointed at the crying baby on the floor, “ run her over,” he commanded and one of his gang took the baby outside. It wasn't long before the screeching of tires were heard and the loud scream of a baby before complete silence.
Not hearing any more crying from outside, the woman threw up blood, her eyes looking at a corner of the room, her mouth moving but no words came out, her son's screams followed soon before it stopped. and then she gave up.
Seeing she stopped breathing already, the mobster pulled out aggressively as he shot at her lifeless body four times before zipping up, his anger clearly visible. “ Such a kill vibe,” he snorted as he walked away.
“Let's start moving, before the boss finds out,” the leader said as they walked out after cleaning the blood off their body.
The black mambas, a name that carries fear wherever it goes. 18 years old Elara had watched her entire family massacred before her eyes and she couldn't do anything. She had gone up to the secret compartment her dad forbade her from going and soon heard screaming, she went back to see what was wrong only to see her dad get shot in the head, her leg gave way and she fell down. She watched them hold her mom down and had turns with her and not even sparing the two months old baby. Her ten years old brother being crucified almost made her pass out.
She knew long ago her parents owed millions in debt, but she didn't expect one day to see them murdered in cold blood for it. Smoke soon filled the place and soon she started coughing, she quickly ran down to her mom but there was no response..
“Mom please… dad, Jason,” she ran over trying to wake each of them but she got no response from them. The smoke was getting thicker and soon the police siren was heard, she didn't want to be seen, she couldn't let this go unpunished. A hand held her before she could dash towards the main entrance, her mom's eyes opened as she smiled faintly at her. “ Run, don't get involved, the police won't help,” she coughed out a mouthful of blood before she stopped breathing entirely.
Elara looked at the place she called home for eighteen years and tears fell in big drops from her eyes. She wanted revenge, she swore to herself right then, she'll kill whoever did this to her family. “ I'll definitely avenge your deaths,” she said and ran out through the backdoor.
