Bed Time Story

Michael carried Orion to the bedroom. He laid him down and then got in bed next to him. Snuggling close he whispered in Orion's ear, "Do you wanna hear a bedtime story?"
"Yes, please." Michael chuckled and snuggled into Orion.
"Once upon a time, in a far away land... There was a Kingdom, settled in the lap of some of the most beautiful but deadly moors.... It was a sight to behold when the sunshine fell... But it morphed into something totally different when the dusk arrived..."
Orion hummed signalling Michael to continue.
"However because of the myths that revolved around those moors, it remained unexplored..
The myth told the story of a Fragile Young Man... Once lost on his path... Betwiched by the beauty of the serene sight infront of him as the sun rose turning everything dark to golden...
It was something like out of a fairy tale... He was entranced as he witnessed the phenomenon everyone thought was a curse to look upon, but he... He was so fixated, entranced and moved by it... He didn't dare take his eyes off of what was in front of him..
He watched, spellbound... When those trees that appeared dead..and dark... were bathed in the sunlight... There was a golden cast that covered them... And as soon as the cast reached the last tip of the very last branch... It exploded into golden dust...and those trees and moors.... Turned lavishly green... He heard the sound of life echo from the moors... As a small butterfly fluttered towards him, resting on his shoulder as if it was beckoning him to explore..
He let that butterfly climb on his finger, It was a beautiful butterfly... So rare.. It's wings were larger than normal.. the core was a royal blue spreading across lightening it's shade as it reached the ends of the wings... But there was something that entrigued him more that the scattered blue... It was the shower of Golden dust that fell and shimmered in the sky when the butterfly flapped it's wings... As if to show off to him... "
Michael peeked down at Orion and found him fast asleep. He smiled and hugged him closer.
