Orion~
Orion had been sipping his third up of coffee, And he wasn't really worried about the side effects because he had missed his coffee and If there was something that could break him it was a cup of piping hot coffee. Ofcourse Michael had sternly adviced against the third but but he had sneaked out when Michael had gone to the pantry to get some stuff for the lunch preparation He had retired to their room and had brought newspaper with him. He was relaxing. Until he remembered the morning when he and Michael had almost kissed. His fingers went to his lips and slowly traced the contours imagining what it would feel like to kiss Michael. To have his lips pressed against his and Blending in unison. Orion felt a soft shiver travel up his spine and it made his skin flare up with want. He then reflected on how he had held on to Michael for his dear life. How Michael had held him close to his being. He swore he felt his heartbeat beat in sync with Michael's. All he wanted was the time to stop and them being caged in that moment forever. They had made fun of poor Michael and he looked at Orion like he would lever everything later in secret. It made Orion excite beyond compare. He looked at his cup and took a sip. It relished on his tongue. God how would Michael taste? Orion took one more sip and sighed.
His gaze then fell on the news paper and it was a headline about a missing doctor who had gone missing after a secretive meeting as it was described by his relatives, colleagues. There was also a correlation about similar disappearances in different cities and all the things that were common in the cases were that all the victims were doctors, they had no idea if the victims were alive or not and they all went to a secret meeting before their disappearance. It struck as off to Orion and above that headline there was another headline about a certain someone having a meeting with a potential team of doctors to work on something which was apparently vital to the society.
He decided that it was time to make a call. He didn't have a phone on him and the best person he could ask for a phone was Jack. He placed his cup on the nightstand and then took up the news paper to read the news more attentively. He didn't have any breakthroughs by just reading the news. He would have to call some people to get the things that no one would made public. Apparently the police force were not able to find any pieces of evidence related to the disappearances apart from miscellaneous things. Date plans, Movie plans, picnic plans and then the people never returned. They were already expecting the worst and The families also had been told to do the same. This looked bad.
Orion sauntered down the stairway and Jack was there in the kitchen cooking away alone, humming to himself. Orion approached him. "Jack?" The man turned and smiled brightly at Orion. "Ah, Boy come help this old man will you?" Orion smiled and nodded. Jack gave a knife and a chopping board to Orion and some Vegetables. Orion started chopping them and then he thought he would ask him if he could use a phone or something. Orion turned to Jack, "Hey, Jack? I have lost my phone, Is there a landline or a cordless that I could use?" Jack smiled and nodded.
"Ofcourse, I told all about it to Michael. I asked him to inform you as well. It was actually him who asked me about the phone. He thought you might need it." Jack said. Orion pondered the thought and then nodded and smiled. The man was instilling himself into Orion's consciousness with every thought. He wanted to know what else Michael had talked about with Jack. Orion didn't have to ask. Jack was already smiling at Orion and nodded. "He talked about you." He said. It made Orion blush. Hard. Jack chuckled. "Do you want to know?" Orion nodded.
"Then cut those veggies correct and I'll fill your cup with the tea" Orion was shocked at this statement and then turned his attention towards those veggies and started chopping them with full sincerity. Jack checked in on him and guided him with some chops and also gave him a few tricks. He also informed that Jack had sent Michael to a*****e down the road to get some more groceries. Orion then turned to Jack, "Did you read about those disappearances? Do you think there's something odd?" Jack seemed to think on it and then he replied that he did.
"I think that the disappearances are only doctors and that they disappear after an outing. Is that it?" Orion nodded and said that that was a pattern there. It could be a serial killer on the loose but if it was why hadn't they found any of the bodies yet? because the time between each abduct was very vague and almost not similar. Orion was pondering on the thought as he finished chopping. He asked Jack about the phone and Jack informed him that a spare phone was always kept in the library on the very first desk.
