Michael was with Dylan waiting for Vincent and Orion to arrive with the car. Michael thought that something had changed in Orion after they had kissed in the room. Michael didn't know what was going on with Orion but he wanted to find out as soon as possible. Dylan looked over at Michael and asked him if there was something he was worried about.
Michael didn't know what to say. He wasn't sure what was the matter with Orion. It was as if he almost looked like he was in pain being around Michael.
"You love him, don't you?" Dylan's voice knocked Michael back to his senses. He looked at Dylan and found him absolutely serious looking at Michael. Was Michael in love with Orion?
Yes. He was. He was in love with Orion. He had fallen for him, hard. Michael remembered everything he and Orion had gone through together...
From the very first look to the nights that they spent together in each other's arms.
“Orion, it's you, isn't it?” a feeble voice. His heart stalled. As he neared the person, he made out a lean figure with tufts of unruly hair, a medical gown covering half of the torso.
“Is it you?” he managed to now kneel at eye level. The man struggled to sit up but nodded anyway. He neared grabbed his shoulders to make him sit up. “Why aren't you outside” he screamed.
"At the end of the day he made his way back. After checking the perimeters, he went up to the bedroom to find Orion still sleeping. Michael smiled. “Wake up princess, you’ve been sleeping for a day now, It’s time for your antibiotics.” He heard a huff, “Sorry daddy not after you stabbed me” Michael laughed, “Well don’t make me spank you boy.” he waited anxiously for an answer and then, “Are you going to kill me next?” Damn this man feared nothing. Michael smiled, “Pretty please?” He turned around and squinted as if too see him clearly. He smiled and helped him sit up"
"He saw Orion move and he rushed to him. “Orion!” He shook him. Orion grunted and pulled himself up. Michael hesitated but then he held Orion, his hold on him tightening, he slowly walked them out through the back door, trying not to make sudden movements.
Orion was breathing heavily now; he loosened his hold but kept him flush against his side."
"His fingers carefully started tracing Orion's torso. Light but firmly. As his fingers traced Orion's ribs and slowly dipped lower trailing to his abdomen, Michael felt uneasy. Eager. The faint moonlight didn't make it any better, Orion's pale skin contracted with that of the now faded earthly skin of Michael's. Ignoring the swell in Michael's chest, he inspected the gauze as best as he could, But as he couldn't feel anything out of place, he sighed with relief. Lowering the flimsy t-shirt made Michael a bit sad. He wished to prod more. Feel more. Assess more. Question…more.
“Why did you come after me?” he whispered.
He positioned himself against the rock and pulled Orion closer, hugging him close, Michael closed his eyes and felt him slipping. He let the sleep takeover."
“Good morning sleeping beauty” Michael teased with a playful ruffle.
Orion groaned and turned burying his face into Michael’s torso, making Michael blush. Instinctively his fingers entangle themselves into Orion’s locks, feeling an unusual tangle Michael reached up to flick the light to get a better look. The back of Orion’s head was matted in a deep brown shade. Feeling a tremble in Michael sniffed his fingers and a guilt settled deep in his stomach.
Blood.
The swampy recollection hit his senses waking him up and he carefully prodded the area finding a small gash. Thank god the bleeding had stopped. He needed to get a better look as soon as possible. His fingertips slowly massaged his scalp in hopes that he doesn’t come across a swelling.
“Orion would kill me if he found out I threw him like a dead log.”
"Michael witnessed Orion scoop a little hummus and then licked it all clean. He waited and a second later Orion's discomfort flickered on his face. Michael started giggling trying to control the bark of laughter rising. Then Michael received a flying piece of bread and it hit his nose. He was too stunned to avoid the other piece this one doused in butter hitting him. Soon there were bread pieces flying across the table landing all over the place, it stopped when they heard a cough of the servant who was carrying something get his by a bread piece. "It is said to be good luck..." Orion muttered, making Michael snicker and then feel shy about the mess they had made."
“Strip for me Princess”
Orion stared at Michael. Had he heard him right? “Come again?” Michael sighed and walked towards him. With a swish he smacked the back of his head which made Orion yelp. “What was that?” He pushed Michael away. “The reason I want you to strip Sciocco, There is a wound on your head and I want change your dressing." Orion was still processing the information when Michael grabbed him, with swift motions took his shirt off and made him sit at the edge of the bed. He went into the bathroom and Orion heard the tap running.
"Socco?” Orion called out after Michael."
"Notice what?"
Orion chuckled and then pointed down to his torso. Michael looked down and realized that the gauze was still suspended from Orion's side. Orion laughed again. In all honesty Michael wanted to record it. The deep care free laugh, the crinkled eyes and the soft expressions of Orion's body were overwhelming. Michael smiled.
"Silly me!"
When Jacob had left, Michael asked that what was all that about, Orion had gone back to his neutral mysterious state. He headed back to the bathroom and Michael followed him inside. He leaned against Orion's back, wrapping his arms around his waist, keeping in mind that he doesn't hurt him. Michael nuzzled into his back, placing soft feather like kisses along his shoulder.
Michael placed his chin on Orion's shoulder, "Why did you cover me up in front of him?" He asked him softly. He saw Orion's smile disappear in the mirror, "I don't like him." He said. Michael nodded. Michael sighed and let go. "Can you wait outside?" He asked, Orion left without even a look."
"Michael felt fingers lacing in his lock, holding, tugging. it was leaving Michael breathless and gasping. He felt his head tip and then Orion's nose nuzzling against his, their breaths mingling in the cold night, but Michael was feeling warm, a little too warm for comfort. the light was still hovering where they were like a firefly in a vast field of the deity, vising all the flowers one by one. Michael felt Orion's head dip in and their lips brush against each other. It made Michael gasp and he felt Orion press into him deeper in warning "Sh...baby, Shh..."
Whoever it was, what they were going to find would not be PG-14. Michael arched his back and pressed into Orion. a threat his mind conveyed. He felt Orion take a huge intake of breath and then exhale shakily. Michael liked his reaction and no matter how dangerous it was, he wanted to do it again. Michael did it again and Orion softly spat a curse. The hold in his hair was now tugging hard, the pain did nothing but set flares inside Michael's heart, aching and wanting for more. Michael almost lost everything there at once when he felt Orion's breath on his neck.
Orion was breathing heavily on his neck sending impulses and blood to spots where Michael wanted the most attention. Orion's breath was fanning on Michael's neck, he felt Orion's nose rub along his neck, Michael was now completely liquid if Orion was to let go, he would succumb to the ground like he never had any bones. He felt Orion's lips on his neck. Softly tracing a meaningless path from his ear to his collar bone. Softly placing kisses along the way, lingering on sweet spots and never missing any inch of his skin. Michael felt high.
If that was how he could describe it then very well. He felt like he was on the seventh heaven. Every press of Orion's lips was sending a shockwave through Michael and he was definitely loving it. Then something happened that turned Michael's core to lava. Orion had pressed an open mouthed kiss right on Michael's pulse. Successfully sending Michael's heart into a frenzy. Nothing right now felt intelligent just like Michael's thoughts. It was all ambiguous. He felt the heat of Orion's mouth, the slickness of his mastered tongue, digging deep into his skin and then the softest suckle.
Michael was a panting mess, and with every assault of Orion's tongue on Michael's neck, Michael wanted more. He wanted to be branded. Never to be touched again except for this man. Michael was at Orion's mercy and he was enjoying it. He would serve himself in a platter if in this moment Orion demanded. He would do almost anything. He felt Orion's panting breaths in his ear. "Michael" He felt the faintest whisper, it traveled deep into Michael. Mercilessly plucking strings of his heart. Michael just gasped in return, it was too hard to form words. "They have left".
"Michael caught a glimpse of Orion's face. His face looked flush but his form felt like that of a caged animal. So he was suffering through the after effects too. Michael smiled as he felt a little relief go through him. Michael took a chance and softly held Orion's wrist. He turned around and stared at Michael. His eyes holding something darker which made Michael's body react in ways he didn't want it to especially now.
They blinked in unison, Orion coughed and then pointed the way to the fence."
"Orion, We're not going in a circle are we? I think I saw this stone before" Orion halted and turned around, pulling Michael in to him. Michael wrapped his arms around him tightly. He had missed this same warmth. He felt like he could exist in this same embrace for forever and ever. Or maybe He was just really tired and he wanted sleep... Orion was soft. "I'm sure we'll get you into a bed pretty soon, Also Thank you." Michael felt weird. Had he said that out loud? No idea. He was feeling very euphoric in Orion's warm embrace.
Orion suddenly pulled apart and took Michael's hand and started running. Michael didn't say anything but complied. Then Michael understood why they were running. They spotted a faint light in the distance and a fear crept into Michael's heart. Orion held Michael's hand and pulled him behind a tree. They slowly and carefully neared the light, and they came upon a faint shape of a small shed. Maybe it was a Garage. When they were sure that there wasn't anyone in the garage they slowly backed up to one of the walls of the shed. Orion leaned in and tried to listen if there was anyone in the garage itself.
Orion looked at Michael and shook his head. They had nothing on them if they were accidentally attacked, however Michael wished he at least had his knife on him. He reached for Orion's shirt and held on to it.
Orion leaned in and placed a soft kiss on Michael's forehead."
"A two floored complex goes up in flames due to a shot circuit in the main frame of the building.
Michael recognised the complex almost immediately. The next headline was even more worrying than the last one.
Seven dead bodies presumed all male have been pulled out of the now almost destroyed building.
"Seven?" Michael whispered. It was unusual, because it was the same complex where Michael had been fame kidnapped by Orion's men and he was sure he had heard six voices in the room. Orion was definitely the seventh. Michael felt his spirits sink as they went on and on about the details of the fire."
"His eyes fell on the man that was sitting with his knees to his chest in the small corner between the wall and the chair. He gingerly approached the man and on the sight of him, he looked up. Michael's heart skipped a beat.
"Orion!?" Michael fell to his knees. His face was black and blue and he had a bunch of cotton pressed around his side. He looked up directly into Michael's eyes, and smiled. "I ran into a pole" Michael was still too stunned to speak. He grabbed his hand and held it close to his heart. "Sciocco" He whispered. Orion smiled and then grunted. Michael snapped out of his overwhelmed state and rushed to lock the door. "I was worried" Orion huffed. Michael gave him a look and he just shrugged and then wailed in pain. This was indeed going to be a long arse night. Michael somehow picked Orion up and placed him on the sofa. He held his chin and assessed the wounds.
He was supposedly out of danger, just really badly beaten up. Michael slowly tapped his cheek. "Orion... Orion what happened?" Michael softly asked him.
Orion opened his eyes, but he couldn't keep them open. How on earth did he even get himself past all these people and into his cabin? Michael had no idea.He cupped Orion's face and leaned his forehead against his. He breathed slowly and then placed a small kiss on his head. He was happy that he was alive, but he was also concerned about his state. Michael made Orion look at him, "Orion, Stay here okay?" Orion nodded. Michael rushed outside to get a medical cart. "
