Fernando and Catori got along famously. Fernando had always wanted to shoot a bow and asked Catori to teach him. Catori responded, “Sure, I can do that. But you need to teach me how to shoot a pistol. Grant says you are as good as him and Angelina.”
“Well, I’m not sure about that, but I can teach you what Gabe and Grant taught me. This will be fun!”
For the bow training, the young men tied bundles of hay as tightly as they could and placed targets on them. If the weather was bad, they practiced in the barn.When Kostini heard about it, he occasionally stopped by and gave the boys even more pointers.
