It was exactly four o'clock in the evening, David and his sister Talia had just gotten out of their college compound and we're heading home in awkward silence.Talia seemed uneasy about something and David couldn't help but notice what was going on with her. She usually was in good moods. He thought to himself.In an attempt to break the silence he tried to engage into small talk with her."lovely weather we are having eh?"he asked Talia who's eyes remained downcast as if trying to avoid eye contact with him. She avoids his question and clenches her fists as if in anger. Something was definitely wrong with her . David grabs her arms and holds her chin up"Talia what's up with you!" Talia frowns at David and looks at him furiously she clenches her teeth in anger " Leave me alone Dave!" She shouts at him to the point of attention .she then breaks free and runs off towards the park. Orson and his sister Marie having seen what had happened between them rushed towards David."what's up with you guys" Marie asks the now bewildered David who seemed to have fixed his attention towards the path Talia took."Earth to Dave ,snap out of it bro" Orson shakes him vigorously so as to bring back him back to reality."No time to talk we have to go after her!" David says as he ran into the forest shouting Talia's name at intervals"Dave you need to chill we'll find her eventually" David now drenched in sweat stares downcast " How are we going to, it's been two hours and still no signs of her.Her footsteps end here . A dead end" "Guys you have to see this" Marie who was now ahead of them speaks in a troubled voice in the other side of the forest. David and Orson could notice a faint glow on her position.They ran towards her only to find Talia's bag besides a golden crest. The crest emitted a bright glow that was hard to stare at directly. "What did you do sis!" Orson shouts at her as the group now start hearing voices from the crest. The crest began floating and rotated round them while the chanting voices became louder and louder that they fell to the ground eyes' closed hands covering their ears and crying in agony. David struggled to open his eyes but all he could see is a bright light .He tried to get up but his body dragged him back, he could hear the cries of his friends faintly . The light was the last thing he remembered of the modern world . He woke up in a forest near a plain. He had a slight headache and didn't actually realize where he was. He could hear slight sounds of moving horses and men chanting war cries. He rubs his eyes Abit and got up to see two groups moving towards each other. One side seemed like an organised army being led my tall heavybuilt like man on a decorated destrier. His spear had a blue banner with a lion's head on it. On the other side he could see a disorganized group of floating like mages wearing torn robes. Their faces seemed pale like that of the dead and they heavily outnumbered the organised group. "Where the I'm I?" David gets up and looks at his surroundings. He comes face to face with a huge white horse clad with golden armour . Bewildered he moves back and trips on a sword on the ground. The sword had engravings on it that seemed like a hidden language of some sort. He grabbed the sword so as to scare the huge war horse moving slowly towards him. Upon grabbing the sword his clothes changed into golden armour that had a breastplate of the shape of a lion. He started hearing voices and screamed in agony . It was at this time that the two groups charged towards each other.The faded voices became louder and clearer. "Don't resist it child grab the sword get onto ur mount and protect the people." David upon hearing the voice he grabbed the sword and hopped on to his mount.He then charged headlong possessed by the voice and charged into the fray of the mages slaying them one after the other as he moved closer towards the leader of the mages. All the mages directed their attacks on him in vain as he either shrugged off their magic or slayed them. The soldiers stopped fighting bewildered by the new warrior on the battlefield "who's this warrior" "I've never seen him before in the heroes'council" "Might he be one of the imperials" "It's the legends" They talked among themselves in shock and misbelieve as the sole warrior destroyed the dark mages' army. David was now face to face with the leader he sparred with him eventually Knocking off his staff and plunging his sword deep into the flesh of the mage."who are you!"the mage looks directly into his eyes dark fumes escaping out of his eyes as he disappeared with his mage platoons. "Ugh my head"David passes out after the battle. Silence passes the battlefield."Don't just stand there ,help the boy!" The warrior on the destrier shouts at his soldiers" Move back to camp!" At the camp David layed there motionless trying to open up his eyes. He could still hear the faint ringing of the voices.It soon faded out and was able to regain conciousness just in time to see two warriors debating his fate. "Is he one of the imperials?"asked the tall warrior clad in dark armour with spiky hair."Nay Jayson. The imperials work as a group they are never separated no matter their talents or strength.I have sent a messenger to the king about his identity we'll best make it back to the castle too"the heavily built warrior clad in blue armour answered him while looking at the now woken up boy"Ah you are awake" he says moving closer to him"Ugh what happened, where I'm I?" David asks the heavily built warrior."You are at our camp about two hundred kilometers from Desidia.Iam Greg one of the 6 generals of Desidia. We are warriors of king Morgant and who might you be young warrior" "Iam David I'm from New York" "That's strange the only York I know of is a small town Foencia but there's definitely nothing new about it." "David tries to explain what happened in the woods before getting into the new world. "Hmm I see but that doesn't explain ur stamina. How did u manage to take on an army by yourself"Greg asks David who seems puzzled by the question.They are interrupted by Jayson"Sir,the men await your command" "Is everything ready?" "Yes sire" "David you ride with me" Greg tells the now bewildered David."I have never riden before" "That's not what I saw"Greg says as they exit the tent. He mounts on his destrier and waits for David to mount on his. David stood there everybody looking at him for quite awhile. "C'mon laddie we don't have all day get on the damn horse buoyo!" He commands David who now struggles to hop on.He almost fell and as soon as he hopped on the mount the horse neighed and sprinted towards Desidia "Well I'll be Damned Jayson take the cavalry and go!" The cavalry sprinted behind David in vain. "His horse is too fast for our cavalry!"shouted one of the knights. "I have never seen anything like this just who is this soldier"Jayson thought out loud as he struggled to maneuver the obstacles on the path. David' was now seen at the horizon. His horse maneuvered the trees and rocks with ease while some of the knights fell of their steed as they struggled keeping up with David. Jayson had to stop to attend the injured "My word.." mumbles beneath his breath. It was getting dark David was no where to be seen. "Make camp for the night we leave at dawn"meanwhile David struggled to stop his horse in vain."Stop you bloody horse!"he could now see the drawbridge leading to Desidia's gates his horse stood near the river."Hmm That's strange . warrior identify yourself !"commanded the sentry at the walls. "He seems to wear Desidia's colors go inform the captain of this" "Umm I'm David " "where do u hail young warrior" the sentry asked as he is interrupted by a warrior clad in blue attires from helm to toe"lower the bridge!" She commanded as he moved towards David her hand on the tilt of her sword "come with me young man and don't try anything stupid or I'll cut off ur throat."David complied fearing for his throat but he didn't take the chance of riding his horse.He gets off and tells it to stay. The horse neighs in response as he was steadily escorted towards the gate by the female warrior behind him and her sword poking David's back armour.he could hear her grin"If anything happened to our warriors out there I'm gonna kill u myself!" They obviously thought he did something to Greg and his warriors back in the plains he thought. He decided to remain silent as he was escorted towards town and towards the square. People looked at him with awe having heard the rumors of the golden warrior with Desidia's colors . "How did he get here so fast"murmured one of the villagers"I don't trust him. He might have killed our knights!" Now ten knights approached Dave and the female warrior. They surrounded them their hands on the tilts of their swords " Citizens go back to your businesses for your own safety. You have been warned" said one of the knights. They approached the square where they meet face to face with the king and four heavy built warriors. They seemed more experienced than the rest and had the best armour he had seen so far apart from that of Greg. They must be the generals it seems. "Lia! That's no way to treat our hero! Step away from him immediately and order your men to disperse at once!" Said the king."I'm sorry you had to be treated that way David. Come young warrior we have much to discuss." King Morgant and the four generals escorted him into the castle.David paid little attention as he couldn't yet percieve the events that took place.He thought of his friends especially his sister. "Talia.." he stopped moving ,tears flowing from his eyes involuntarily. Morgant and his generals bewildered by his sudden emotional outburst eyed him with concern.David upon seeing them staring struggled to wipe his tears in vain as his golden gauntlets prevented him from doing so. Morgant snapped And the generals walked out. Morgant approached him and placed his arm around David's shoulders"let it all out David everything will make sense eventually.Now is there anything you want to tell me. David could now see Morgant's pale blue eyes his long brown hair rested on his chest armour.Truly he's a king.He thought.As they moved round the castle,David explained all the events that took place before his arrival to the new world."Your friends most likely are in the other kingdoms.Ill send delegates to each kingdom in search of your friends.David you and your friends are the salvation we have long awaited for.The army you and Greg faced are part of jairus'dead army, failed experiments of his!They have no banner,no rational all they seek is blood,bloody infidels they are! They must be stopped at all cost and they outnumber us by far. If only all of our kingdoms United against the common enemy but some states either gave in or remained neutral.Its been over sixty years of fighting the dark forces of jairus.My father died by his hand David. You have great potential and you and the crest are the key to help us turn the tide of this damn war and end it all."David clenches his fists at the thought of shedding blood"Will I be able to return home after the war?"he asks"Well if the legend is true you should be able to ""Could you tell me more about the legend?" "Sadly I know naught much .All I know is the crest chooses four warriors of heavenly bloodline from an alternate dimension to fight the dark forces and restore peace to the world.If you want more information concerning the legends you have to go to the city of mages up north but for now feel free to explore the town there's a room up the Eastern tower which will be your chambers." he called one of the gaurds to escort David to his room. As David walked passed the halls he could see paintings of warriors and knights fighting against dark figures. He could see the soldiers being led by four champions each with different banners. When he got to his room he locked the door and threw himself on the bed.He then closed his eyes and thought to himself"This must be a crazy dream and I'm gonna wake up any minute now"he opened his eyes to find himself still in the room."Ugh it's not working!How can this be real"he took out his necklace which had Talia's name inscribed on it and clenched it "I have to find you. I know you are somewhere in this world, noone will stand in my path of getting to you ,I'll train harder and.."he is interrupted by someone knocking at the door. He could hear Lia's voice from the other side of the door"Are you talking to yourself?" "No I'm not"David says as he rushed to open the door to prevent further questions"To what do I owe your visit oh great Lia"he says mockingly but Lia gets in pushing him aside"Cut the crap!I know why you are here !" "Why I'm I here"David asks as he moved closer to her but she draws her sword fast and pokes David's breastplate"Woah!" She looks at him furiously then lowers down her sword."I cannot trust you even though you are supposedly the champion"she says as she clears her throat "Okay is that all you came to tell me?" David asks her as he goes towards the window "No his Majesty sent me to take you to town" "Why?" David asks as he looks at Lia directly in the eyes.She loooks away in response and an awkward silence follows."The people have to trust you as you are our champion" Lia avoids making eye contact "What about you ? Do you trust me?" David moves towards her.Lia remains motionless as he grab hold of her hands.At that moment Lia looked at David's face and thought to herself"Why do I feel hot all of a sudden"David could now see her beautiful green eyes complimenting her long red hair.She had a beautiful well shaped petite body and despite her frequent outbursts towards him.They are interrupted by a knock on the door. Lia steps aside quickly as David went towards the door"Who is it" "It's I milord I've brought you traveling clothes to change to by the order of the king"David opens the door to find the maid with the traveling clothes in hand.She hands it over to him and slightly bows as she leaves. David closes the door and finds Lia seated on the bed clearly disturbed and lost in thoughts"Lia,Lia!" "What!" "I thought I lost you there ,could you show me how to remove this armour" "Well you can remove it the same way you put it on" "I don't remember how I put it on"David says struggling to remove it"Seriously?!" she waits for awhile looking at him struggling with the armour.She then bursts out laughing "Ha! Are you seriously our long awaited champion?You can't even remove your armour" "Shut up and help me with this will you" "Fine but no funny business.Try anything funny and I'll cut off your throat!" She says as she goes over to him and carefully removing his breastplate but gets distracted by David's well built chest and abs and runs her fingers on his chest and abs "So hard... " "Did you say anything?"David asks Lia who seemed startled. She coughs abit and says"Um how comes you are naked underneath your armour " "I don't even know, my clothes turned into armour so I only remained with my inner clothes as a result ." "Well I think you can remove your pants on your own" "David removes his trouser but Lia kept on looking at him.He didn't mind though and found it a bit funny. He let out a smile startling her and forcing her to look away "What's wrong with me!" she thought to herself.David finished changing and grabbed his sword and placed it at his waist."Okay done!" "Took you long enough,let's go"
