Meeting with the prince
I was busy preparing for my seventeenth birthday ball which was to take place a week's time when my personal maid, Emma rushed towards me panting.
'Princess, your father the King has requested to see you' she said panting heavily
'I wonder why father had summoned me so urgently' I thought.
I followed Emma to my father's study. At the door, Emma knocked announcing our arrival.
'Come in', a voice I was all too familiar with said. It was my father's.
We walked in to find my father talking to a young man I had never seen before.
He had dark black hair and sapphire eyes to match. His features were godly. In simple words he was very handsome.
Emma and I gave our respective greetings.
'Emma you can take your leave now.' my father said and Emma obliged.
I was curious about why my father had summoned me and the identity of the stranger was.
'This is my youngest daughter, Eleanora.' my father said in a steady yet shaking voice.
'who was this guy that my father, who wasn't afraid of anyone or thing, to make him tremble like that' I wondered.
I courtsied before the man who exuded a dominant aura that even made me shake a bit.
He took my hand and kissed the back startling me. A blush crept unto my cheeks. He introduced himself as Lucian.
'Lucian' I couldn't help but think I had heard the name before.
After a few pleasantries, I took my leave and excused the two gentlemen. Before I left, I took a glance at the guy and our gaze met. He winked and flashed me a smile.
I was caught off guard and my heart began to flattered at his gesture.
I left the room and decided to head to my room to get ready for my training. On the way, I met Emma and she was also curious about the young man.
I told her his name and she said that is the name of the wargod. Then it hit me, prince Lucian was the tyrant prince of Aries. The one rumored to kill a thousand men by himself. He was a one man army.
I also heard that his guards were saying the prince came to form an alliance by proposing marriage to the flowers of Verdia.
'You were eavedropping again weren't you, Emma?' I said before her word could be processed. ' I'm sorry Princess. I didn't mean to. I just walked in on them talking and curiosity got the best of me.' Emma pleaded. I sighed
'wait did u say marriage?' I asked after I had registered what she said. I pushed the probability that he would choose me aside as my older sisters were far more beautiful than I.
I told Emma I would be going to my room then left.
I got dressed for training pushing everything behind me.
I went to a secluded spot in the royal garden. The place was dear to my heart and sometimes I felt it was magical as only my Mom and I could see it. After my Mom passed when I was 7 the place became my place of comfort and a way I could reconnect with her.
