Chapter 3 OLIVER I leaned back in the café booth, stretched my arms above my head and yawned. “f**k, I’m tired. When are we going back to bed?” We’d been running all night for three days to get home in time for Christmas, and we’d made it with a few days to spare. But I was f*****g exhausted. “You can go now if you want,” Jase said, rolling his eyes at me. “But I’m getting some proper food first.” We’d stopped by our parents’ places long enough to grab some clothes and say ‘hi’ to a few people, but we were all in desperate need of a shower and a hot meal.
