He arrived right at six. I sucked in my breath at the sight of him. I’d nearly forgotten how stunning he was, all Chris-Pine-like. I kissed him hello. I forgot to unkiss him, but it was early in the morning, my mind not working as fast as my lips. Plus, there was that eighteen-year-old thing again. I’d be nineteen in a short while. I tended to doubt much would change, hormonal-wise. “Nice to see you, too, Lucas,” he said, eyelids fluttering open, post-kiss. “How are things?” I handed him a spare mask and a hat. “Coffee?” I replied.
