Chapter 7 Senior year came to a close, while I simply came by myself. I mean, it’s hard enough being a gay teenager in Montana; throw in a deep, dark secret such as superpowers, and hard becomes impossible in terms of finding a new boyfriend. And so I moved away early, telling my parents that I wanted to get situated in Bozeman before school started. They agreed, if joyously, helping me pack and then driving me to a small apartment they’d rented for me for the summer. I’d move myself to the dorm once school started.
