Rozagin Part 2: Dilemma

Rozagin Part 2: Chraen Nephrite placed two coats over the bed. He did not expect that this young master would have a very strong fashion sense. He was about to pick the simplest coat he saw in his wardrobe when, all of a sudden, he felt strong displeasure from the residual soul of the vessel! The shock was an understatement! All this time, he thought it was just resentment about things connected to the vessel’s death. Who knows it could also happen with such things as dressing. As he chose which of the two coats to pick, someone knocked on the door. Nephrite did not answer because he knew the person would still enter anyway. Soon enough, he heard the door creaking open. “Good morning, Young Master. It is time to—Young Master, you woke up early. I’m sure your father will be pleased.” “Yes, good morning, Damian,” Nephrite smiled at the butler. However, his smile was cold as ice. Damian felt something was off, but the butler still smiled back as if he did not sense something. “Young Master, do you need some help with the coat?” “No need,” He picked up the trench coat and wore it over his uniform. Nephrite looked at the mirror in front of him. He wasn’t able to observe Keisuke’s appearance before since everything started hard in the first world. However, this second world seems a bit laid back. Chraen’s physical appearance was good. Hazel eyes and honey blonde hair, while his height was around 5’10. Good body stature but a bit thin. In fact, he got bullied after his mother’s death. If he was not from a well-known family and the professors did not interfere, he might have experienced continuous bullying in school. However, because of that, the school had stricter means to avoid similar cases in the future. This pleased the student community. However, Nephrite can’t maintain this kind of thin body. He needed to strengthen it as soon as possible. The dining room was a classic medieval style with a long dining table, a high chandelier, and a large painting of the patriarch and his wife. There was a similar painting on the central staircase in the ballroom. It includes Chraen, smiling like they were a completely happy family. The breakfast on the dining table was sumptuous. As he had his meal, he asked Damian, “Where’s father and mother?” “Your father arrived late from his business trip. Madam will wait for him to come out.” The one who answered was his father’s secretary, Henrietta. “Good morning, Lady Yetta,” Nephrite gave her a faint smile. After Chraen went to jail, his father’s business fluctuated. It was Henrietta who helped his father get back on track. Three years later, his father married her. Nephrite stared at the soup on his plate. He had to be careful around everyone. The original vessel had a good impression of Henrietta for some reason, but not Nephrite. He lacked clues, so he would rather suspect everyone right now than make a wrong move. He also needed to find Xei, even if he didn't want to. The second semester will start today. Chraen was still in his secondary education. In their original life, Chraen planned to enroll in a Business School and learn Music at the same time. But the chance did not come anymore. The crime happened right after the exams. He did not even learn if he passed the exam he worked hard for. Nephrite found one problem. Back in his real life, he was a typical hikikomori—a person who avoids social contact. Nephrite hoped in silence that the usual soul residual interference would happen this time. He had no choice but to do this as it was his quest. However, if he started shaking in front of everyone, what would happen? Nephrite’s fear was proven as he reached school. “Young Master, are you alright?” Damian asked while looking at the rearview mirror. “Yes,” Nephrite waved nonchalantly as he gazed outside the window. “Are you sure? You looked pale.” “Don’t worry.” Damian parked the car in front of the gate, “Young Master, call me right away if something happens.” Nephrite nodded, “Thanks. Be safe.” He got out of the car. It was still early in the morning and there were still not a lot of students on campus. He lowered his head and decided to walk fast. The original vessel was not a quiet person and he usually greeted most of the people he encountered, a social butterfly. But Nephrite could not help but shrink in front of the crowd. He only sighed a breath of relief after he reached his seat in their classroom. _______ His relief did not last until break time. Nephrite schooled his expression during the first part of the class. There were few who tried to talk to him. The original vessel indeed liked fashion but he wore thick glasses. He did not care about his facial appearance as much as his clothing style, making it easier for Nephrite to get ignored. It helped a lot for him to adjust. But he can not hide in the next class anymore. The music class will have an assessment today. Aside from that, the professor will choose random students to perform a piece from the selection of music the professor gave before the vacation started. Nephrite transmigrated today. Though the talent in playing instruments was automatically engraved in this body, he still needed to practice to be able to utilize the skill perfectly. Plus it’s about music! Nephrite might be able to pull off a piece but it will surely lack a soul. As their first class ended, he pretended to use his phone first as he waited for the number of the students to decrease. “This is gonna be interesting.” “What is it?” “Turns out our music class would be with Section B and Section C.” Nephrite froze after hearing this. He glanced at his two classmates who were sitting not far away from him. “Huh? We’re sharing with two other classes? Is this school already lacking music professors?” “Yes and Yes. But that’s not what I intended to say. Do you still remember what happened in primary school? With,” the Classmate A gestured at Nephrite’s direction, “and Borys?” Classmate B covered his mouth in shock, “Yes, I do! Lower your voice. Don’t you think he heard it?” “Does it matter? Chraen will know it sooner or later. He might as well hear it now.” Nephrite really heard it and was now in a complete dilemma.
