Epilogue: Wolf Princess

  I wandered out of my castle as I did every full moon. It was time to spend the night running wild. I stood in the courtyard my clothes falling to the floor. I shivered from the cool breeze.   As soon as the moon reached its peak, it began. I let out a scream that slowly turned into a howl. I wandered around the castle grounds most of the night.   My paws feeling the coolness of the dirt, my nose catching different scents in the air. As the night carried on, I could hear the howls of the other wolves.       I ran with them once, and then they saw me change back into a human. They never came near me again. I could hear them getting closer.   I trotted closer to the castle gates and watched as the gates were kicked open by a woman. Her strength was impressive.   I stayed in the shadows for a moment, watching these strangers. They were trying to escape the other wolves. Then the one who kicked my gate open grew afraid of the sunrise and dove headfirst into their carriage.   A man followed her a few moments later. I stared in wonder at what was happening. I went to the gate finally revealing myself.   I am holding my robe in my mouth. As the sun came up, I began to transform back into my normal form. I let out a howl that turned into a scream.   I stood there and covered myself with my robe as quickly as I could. The strangers were watching me.   The one who dove into the carriage looked me in the eyes and yells out to me, “Belle?”   I smiled. I thought they smelled familiar.       I yell back, “My name is Isabella now. Come on in.”   I head back into my castle and get dressed, then wait in the sitting room for my guests to come in.   As I wait, I begin to remember how I got to this point...
