A/N: Any names you see here are fictional, and I'm definitely not stealing characters from other stories. I just happened to like names of people, you know?? Also, I'm not promoting anything you'll recognize on here and neither will I spoil them for those who haven't watched yet oxox
It's already Christmas Eve and Annabeth and Percival decided they would have a movie date. They were both emancipated and lived a few states over from their families, so they usually spend their holidays together. This year, they decided on a movie date. They'll stay in this Christmas and watch some of those new movies that they missed that year. Both Annabeth and Percival are very busy people.
"Hey, Perce, what do you want to watch first?" Annabeth asked.
"I don't know," Percival murmured, turning over their DVDs in his hand, looking over each one. "What about Wonder Woman?" He held up the DVD.
"What about IT?" Annabeth showed it to him.
"You sure about that, Beth? You won't come hiding behind my hoodie and whimpering again?" He wiggled his eyebrows at her.
"Of course not!" She exclaimed. He raised an eyebrow. "Alright, maybe I'll be a little scared. So what about this? Pick one." Annabeth raised two DVDs.
"Guardians of the Galaxy? Or Justice League? So it comes to Marvel vs. Dc again? You know I like DC better," Percival said.
"I don't discriminate. We'll judge by how the movies are made, the quality of it."
"So what, are we movie critics now?" Percival plopped down on the sofa. He took the DVDs and placed them beside each other. "Let's go for the Guardians of the Galaxy first, yeah? Then we move on to Justice League and whatever we want next?"
"Sure," Annabeth agreed.
She went to the kitchen to make some popcorn and plopped down beside him to watch the movies. After the first movie, they were both hyped up.
"You see what Rocket did there? And baby Groot!" Annabeth said.
"Yeah! Now let's see about this Justice League!" Percival said. They put the movie in and sat back down to watch. After that movie came another, then another, then another until it was already after dawn when they finished.
They were about to watch more when Percival's phone rang. It reached a few rings before he picked it up.
"Hello?" He asked on the line. "Who's this?"
There was some fast incoherent babbling on the other end and Percival sighed.
"Beth, I'm sorry but I have to go. They need me at the office." He said.
"Alright, you can go, just be quick and go home so we can finish some more movies. I'll be waiting," Annabeth answered.
They kissed and he drove off, but little does he know that she followed him. Annabeth's been pretty suspicious about the call from the very beginning. The voice was obviously a girl, and although she trusted him, he didn't trust the girl. She knows the girl who called. The secretary of their boss who had always had a crush on Percival. And not only that, but it's Christmas! Who would call for a job during Christmas? To make it simple, Annabeth's jealous.
They only have a few times a year where they can actually bond and have fun together, and someone just steals him from her? She wants to see what the call was about.
She headed to her car and followed, driving a far enough behind him that he wouldn't see her, but near enough that she wouldn't miss him. Sure enough, his car stopped in front of his office. He got down from his car and she followed, a few meters behind him. Probably sensing that someone was following him, Percival looked back, glancing at the road and the street. Seeing nothing, he continued inside.
When Percival walked in, not noticing the mistletoe, the secretary attacked him. She grabbed him from behind and kissed him deeply. Annabeth saw this. She immediately pulled him away from the girl and slapped her.
"What the hell*?" The girl yelled. "Who are you?!"
The girl tried to lunge at Annabeth but she dodged it. "I'm Annabeth, his fiancee. So don't you dare touch him." She warned before slapping the girl again.
"That does it! I'll make sure you get fired by Mr. D!" The girl was fuming and shoved Percival to the wall before leaving.
"Woah, I didn't know you can do that. anyway, why are you here?" Percival said, hugging Annabeth.
"I'm smart, and I know girls like her. It was already pretty suspicious that she called you during Christmas, but for work? Nuh-uh. You're mine." She said.
"Well, now you won't have to worry about work now, she said she'll get me fired."
"I don't care what she says, or what she does, or whoever she is, but she'll be the one getting fired. I'll file a suit against her, and write a letter to your boss," Annabeth stated.
"Woah now, girl. We don't have to file anything against anyone. Although I kind of like the idea of you writing to my boss. I know you're pretty convincing. Bet you can convince him to give me a raise?" Percival joked.
"We'll see, then Perce. For now, let's go watch those dam movies."
