   Rhett's POV     I was back at the castle the night of the holiday ball.  Snow was falling outside and the temperatures were lower than they had been since last year.  I watched as guests entered and scanned the crowds for anyone suspicious.  This was the night that everything would change and that burden would forever be mine to bear.  I stood over the high balcony and watched as guests descended the steps greeted at the bottom by Princess Avianna and Prince Peter from a neighboring kindgom.  I briefly considered the life they could have if their friendship blossomed into more, alas my father would never allow it.     "What a fine night isn't it Son?"  I turned to see my father standing proudly behind me.  "Father, I did not expect to see you tonight."  "Why Son I never miss the Winte
