Unpredictable Love

Irene Pov; Time passes hastily, without realizing it's been 2 months I have forced myself to live like a man, mere to change the future, which I myself not sure what the end will be? Do I have to go through my retirement time later alone or will there be someone sitting next to me mere appreciate the twilight hours while we smile to each other, we talk about the joys and sorrows of ourselves till we meet. We hold hands and unashamedly link as if we are young people who are merely making love.However, I don't know what destiny is written for me. Our path is guided by a mind that often changes, so I let my mate come accordingly to the current of destiny. I am merely doing my best to bring my time and old age closer. Love is a feeling that springs from a rather strange and unexpected feeling when, where and with who will we fall in love? It is an instinct that has been ingrained from the heart to be the nature of every servant of God since he created life. This life is love and the heart is destined to make love. I haven't cleared my head off yet, someone with a dimpled smile comes to ruin my attention at unexpected places, he comes like a wind blow whispered on my ear then makes me concede everything that means for me. ’I just don't understand why I act that easy?’ I try my best to ignore what I feel, especially because I merely break my engagement, although I don't really like my relationship, fact someone ever put a ring on my finger so in-state of confused mind I play hide-and-seek with him. I was still frightened about having a new relationship, but this man to me was different from other guys who come and go from darkest places. He has shiny eyes and a sweet smile that can make a heart melt whoever stares at him. He is the sort of man who can make all women remorseful, hence taking for granted what they suppose to be not. Full of rumors! ”Hey” I cracked the silence, it was the second time I saw Zhe pass by while I was doing my chores. The first time we met also here at my work place, I mere a week helping my friend at his VVIP club, where my boss, Mr. Vick, who treats me as his own sister, is having a glass of wine with Zhe and his friends, but we don't talk so much at the beginning, Zhe just giving me a numb look. This time Zhe returned to me with a sweet smile, ”Hi” Zhe said. ”Do you wanted to go back now?” I chided to stop Zhe for awhile. ”Yes” Zhe answered shortly with a smirk. I clenched my teeth with his answer and watched him walk away. That man is very mysterious to me. I get interested to know more and silently I pray that I will get a chance to converse what in my head. Phsyco! I have often been having a busy day ever since I started working here and I instigate to loosen up. I find looking at other people laugh and talking to my college is more pleasure than planting love at the place where no one really cares what so ever you doing. ”Irene, have you eat your lunch?” Gina comes close to me. She the only girl that understands me adequately since I work with Mr. Vick, she constantly looks at me like her own family. ”you look very pale, do you alright?” She pleaded without giving me any minute to rationalize. ”Pardon me, I am actually alright.” I return Gina with a forced smile and try to deceive. ”Naa...you can't fooled anyone with your look and forced smile on your lips. Maybe we just know each other but I learned to read your body language so well” Gina said ”I am alright, please don't worry me” I convince Gina some more. ”This place is not the right place for you to put a drama on that you were alright when you were not, you should love yourself more than others, or else you won't advantage any!” Gina says lovingly. She treats me like her own sister. I can feel vast of water on my eyes waiting the right time to fall. I have no more words to say yo Gina, I hug her like my own sister and shook my head. She pats my back. *********** At the next day I came a little bit late to work I saw Zhe furthermore. This time he pretend like he didn't notice me at all that I mere standing next to him, he kind of busy talk to his friends who is often accompany him. His friend saw me stare at them, he squeezes Zhe before he waves to me friendly. I smile back at him and wave my hand. I saw him with Zhe many times before but I never ask his name but I know he knows mine. Before Zhe’s friend got a chance to say something Mr.Vick call me. “Irene, how you doing?“ Mr.Vick asked “I am doing fine, ever since I am here everyone treated me delightful as I am their own family,” Irene said ”So how was your life? it has been a while ever since I told you that I am going to build an Empire for us to have good and warm food on our dining table. Now, look at this place, I really make it happen same as I ever promise to you and to everyone who devotes me until now” tell Mr.Vick with a huge smile on his lip. ”I proud and thankful to you, to be honest barely start over once again, I encounter failure with my relationship, financial and my career. Where everything is not goes as I dreamt. I had argument with my boss which make he decided to transferred me to Johor but then I refused to go. That why here I am, I come back to this palace again..” I claim to Mr.Vick slowly so that two eyes that keep on watching us since just now can't hear what I say. Ethically, I start feel uncomfortable with how they stare on us. I can feel my cheeks hot felt like embarrassed with Zhe’s eyes. ”Don't worry! Remember you just have to work hard for your better future. Notify me if you need anything, don't feel guilty or shy to speak out your words, okay coz we all is family here” Mr. Vick pleaded ”Naaa...it is okay, thank you for your support and advice” Irene said. Mr. Vick is such a good person. I remember the first time I meet him, I just getting 21 years old. He not merely our CEO but also like my own brother. He told me about himself, how his journey and challenges that he had faces before he become a CEO. He is a father for two beautiful son. He said his wife already passes away. He inspired me all this time by the strong characteristics that he has, he has not only motivated me on how to dwell with money and to look for a real gentleman but also guided me how to empathize. There no reason to disagree with his words after look at what he archive in his life. I short our conversations there and ask for excuses to flee, I can feel a butterfly inside my stomach for Zhe’s eyes which looks like trying to witches me, Mr. Vick gave me a brother hug and pat my back before I left. I seldom running from another person's sight like this but for allowing new people who are not really close to me to listen to my personal stories, I am not required too.
