CHAPTER 4

I wore a fitted plain gray v-neck shirt and a black pants. I don’t know how to dress at mag ayos for girls because i never cared sa looks ko before everytime i go out with girls. But now, she’s not just a typical girl she is Kiana and she is speacial to me. I grabbed my jacket and wears my nike rubber shoes and heads out.

I texted her yesterday the location. I chose this fancy little cafe na exclusive only for special customers. I have no problem asking for reservations because the owner of this place is a shareholder of my company so i got in easily.

5:28 pm

I am now here asking for a glass of water while waiting. 6pm ang usapan and hindi naman ako masyadong excited makita sya kaya maaga ako.

The ambiance of the place is very cozy and comfy. Parang modern ang designs nya kasi woods ang kadalasang makikita mo sa walls and there are lights hanging in the ceiling. It is designed minimal and aesthetically and konti lang ang tao.

Minutes have passed and i saw her entering the place. She is like a goddess who came to earth to define the word ‘gorgeous’.

She wears a simple jeans topped with a black sleeveless and she has a cardigan on. I was thankful with that cardigan, kung wala yan baka masako ko sya ng wala sa oras. Just kidding but she really looks good in just a simple get up. Hinding hindi matatabunan ang kagandahan nya kahit magsuot pa sya ng basahan at maging taong grasa-

‘’SIRRR? A-are you good? May mali po ba sa suot ko?’’ – she said habang tinatakpan ng jacket ang damit nya hanggang leeg.

Natawa ako sa reaksyon nya kase parang pati ulo nya ay ibabalot na niya sa cardigan nya.

‘’No, you just look stunning- i mean good!, you look good. ‘’– what the f*ck? I lose it again. I need to work on controlling my mouth.

‘’Ah, Thanks sir.’’ – she said shyly.

After we got our food, kumain na kami and talked about some things. Of course me acting that i don’t know her and asking questions about her job, is she happy about it and etc.

‘’I didn’t formally introduced myself to you right? Apollo Collins.’’ – i said at inabot ang kamay ko sa kanya.

‘’Kiana Velloso sir. ‘’– she said at tinanggap ang kamay ko.

‘’No just call me Apollo, drop the formality since we know each other already.’’ – i said and smiled. Just for her. I will never let anyone call me my first name without my permission aside from my family and friends.

I payed the bill instead of her. Dipa sya papayag kase it’s her treat but i insisted. Ang pangit naman kung sya pagbayarin ko and my ego can’t take it kaya sumuko na sya at hinayaan nalang akong magbayad.

Kiana’s pov-

Nakauwi na ako and i just finished to shower when my phone rang and i see my investigator’s ID in it.

‘’We need to talk.’’ – he stated

‘’Ok tomorrow 2pm sharp.’’ – i said. May shifting naman kami bukas kaya free ako half of the day.

‘’Noted.’’ – he said at binaba na ang tawag.

Sa totoo lang i kinda feel nervous everytime he says na we need to talk. It could be either may nahanap syang impormasyon o may gusto syang malaman na impormasyon. And hindi yung tipikal na impormasyon ang hinihingi nya kundi mga confidential informations like mga private questions na feeling ko wala namang konekta sa kaso but i just shrugged it off kase baka nga ginagamit nila yon for some reasons para sa kaso.

Iniisip ko padin ang nangyari kanina, i feel something kay apollo na diko alam ano. A strange feeling na i need to stay away from him but i didn’t find any reasons to do so. Wala akong nakitang mali sa kanya, and he is someone na hahabulin ng lahat ng babae because of his looks and the power he holds. I can’t even believe na magkakilala na kami and I even had a formal meeting with him. Imagine, he is the most famous business tycoon.

I just knew that he is the owner of a big company here in the Philippines and many other outside the country. He has his own company and just few years ago the most famous business man Mr. Martin Collins hands his company to his son which is none other than Apollo. Every single move of their family is sought after by reporters and news casters because you cannot deny that their family is one of the wealthiest one. But i still feel this weird feeling na pamilyar ang pangalan nya at nabasa kona ito somewhere.

SOMEONE’S POV-

‘’Boss we have a problem, someone is protecting him at malakas ito.’’ – sabi ng lalaki sa harap ko.

I just grinned and took a pity of his little tricks na akala nya makakasalba ng buhay nya. He thought he has the ace of this game but hindi nya alam ako ang namamalakad sa laro nya. They are just puppets dancing on my show and i will make sure to make him regret and suffer for what he has done. Just wait for the right time at gagamitin ko ang alas ko para patumbahin ka APOLLO.

Apollo’s pov-

‘’Someone has been trying to get in sa atin and their strength is no joke. I think they’re bigger than us.’’ – saad ng investigator ko.

He is not just an investigator but an agent i trusted. He’s been working for the company for a long time mula pa sa lolo ko at sa papa ko. So i know his loyalty and honesty is in the us. Malakas sya at may mga tauhan din na hindi basta-basta matutumba. In short they are a very strong agents hired by my grandfather to protect our family and the company since maraming gustong magpatumba saamin dahil sa aming impluwensya sa larangan ng negosyo.

‘’Alam mo na anong gagawin sa kanila, i need to go.’’ – i said at tumango naman sya bago ako lumabas sa cafe na pinag meetingan namin.

Damn i should’ve listened to him na wag muna lapitan si Kiana kasi marami pa kaming kalaban at alam kong gagawin nila ang lahat mapatumba lang ako. I dragged her in danger and that’s because of me being careless. Inuna ko ang kagustuhan ko instead of protecting her. But since nangyari na, i will not let them touch Kiana. Maghahalo ang balat sa tinalupan bago nila mahawakan si Kiana and i swear my life in that. Not her, not my Kiana.
