Chapter 59- We Can't
Sammy Sam proceeded to check on Tom and Gideon. I went to my room to study and prepare for my night duty. A little while later, Yelena called me to eat our dinner. I joined my family, and we were happily eating when Dad broke the news he saw on his phone. Kyle had resigned as the CEO of our pharmaceutical company. We were shocked by his actions, but I knew he had his reason why he stepped out and left the office. He loved his job so much, and he sacrificed a lot to build its name. I knew he was sick and still unwell, but he could remotely manage them. However, his decision would benefit him as well. Perhaps my brother wanted to stay home and be with Elisha while they were recovering. I believed they both needed each other, which could be his way to mend their broken relationship. So
