Feliz and I continued our breakfast and left for New Jersey. We were inside her car, discussing my predicaments about Chase, when she received a call. “Oh, excuse me, Sophie,” Feliz said, checking her screen, “It’s Sam.” “It’s okay,” I smiled at her before checking my own. There were notifications from Erin and Mika. I felt disappointed not to see any messages from Sammy. I wanted to know what prompted Kyle to leave the company. I believe he spoke with his family after dinner. I opened Erin’s first. She just informed me about the time for tomorrow. Mika asked me how I was and if there was any update about Elisha. I slightly wondered what Elisha would think about us leaving her alone with Kyle around. ‘Elisha is already home and resting. I’ll visit my new working spot in NJ in an hour
