"Ladies, ladies come here," Gunther's German accent was quite present in his voice letting me know whatever he was calling Paige and I over for had him quite agitated. He was standing at the little flap that opened to the back bar area. He lifted it up and was standing in the opening.
The place had picked up around seven, but when I say picked up I mean a flood of people seemed to all show up at once. There was an electric buzz in the air, a lot of energy just milling about. I didn't know if it was because so many magical beings were used to being around each other or if this was simply what it was like with a lot of magical beings in one place. Either way the air was practically electric. We were only one hour into this busy session when Gunther had called us over.
