Three months since John and I came back together. Britney was cast out because she was constantly trying to build a barrier between me and John by going after Emily, and the day she pronounced to the entire pack she was pregnant? John snapped and kicked her out, after establishing that Emily was the future Alpha and made sure Britney wasn't pregnant. One forced ultrasound, and no baby in sight. She was stripped from her pack the next day, and her parents came to apologize to us for her behavior.

Emily had been terrified after the incident where Britney pushed her, and I can't blame her.

Yesterday was my Luna Ceremony. It was perfect. White roses were scattered on the ground, forming a path towards the shrine in the courtyard. Chairs were placed on either side of the path, almost like a wedding. At the end was one of the Elders, Elder Caldwell. He had a flower crown in his hands made with purple lilies. I wore a white dress, not a wedding dress exactly, more like a summer dress. I walked over the flowers to Elder Caldwell, and bowed so he could place the crown on my head.

"Today, we crown our Luna. She may not be pure blood, but she has Wolf Blood nonetheless. Today, we show our loyalty to the Fated mate of Alpha John. Today, our pack become whole." Elder Calder spoke with confidence and tact, even though he mentioned to everyone I didn't have a wolf, but his look made everyone hold their tongue. "Elizabeth, it's time for the blood bond and vows." He crabbed a silver chalice and a knife and cut my hand, pouring some blood in the chalice before John licked my hand and healed me. Next he did the same with John, who healed pretty quickly. We were warned that they didn't know if the blood would to anything with me other than me getting the mind-link with the pack, but odds were against me gaining a wolf. "Elizabeth, repeat after me: I, Elizabeth, swear to be the Luna the Crescent Moon Pack deserves. To be a fierce and loyal leader alongside my Alpha, and to perform my Luna duties with pride and honor. I swear to be a loyal mate to my Alpha, and to honor his words until I am no longer Luna." I repeated the words after him, and then he presented the chalice. "Drink the blood, and your Alpha will give you the new title." I grabbed the chalice, looked at John and drank it all. I had problems not gagging at the iron taste, but i managed to get it down. John came forward and grabbed my hands and looked into my eyes. "I, Alpha John of the Crescent Moon Pack, give you, Elizabeth, a new title as Luna of the Crescent Moon Pack. Do you accept?" His eyes were locked on mine, and I smiled. "I, Elizabeth, accept my new title as Luna of the Crescent Moon Pack." John stepped back as I felt the title snap into place. I looked at the pack, and felt my aura grow. The pack raised when Elder Calder raised his hands, and I stepped forward. I tested my aura and pushed it out to the pack before I gave the command that would prove I was Luna: "Obey!". The pack fell to their knees and bared their necks to me, and I felt John's approval through our mate-bond. "Luna Elizabeth, we will obey you and honor you as an equal to our Alpha." The voices were in unison, and that was that. I was Luna, and had a mate I loved more than anything.
