SECRETS OF GOBTU

"I guess it looks good on me." Jolt says to herself as she looked at herself in a mirror, the uniform was a white coloured button down shirt and a blue colour skirt back at home she never had issues with how she looked cause her mum was always there to help her out. Her duplicate suddenly appears beside her.

"You look horrible." The duplicate tells her disgusted, Jolt was angry with it since it didn't bother to help her out so she ignores it.

"I'm talking to you, isn't that what you wanted throughout yesterday?" The duplicate says to her but Jolt didn't say anything she was busy cleaning up some dirty stains on her uniform the duplicate didn't stop talking until Jolt responded.

"I begged you to come out and help me but you refused, what if I was almost killed? Like be a better person or beast I don't know." Jolt claps back at it furiously, she just wanted to have a normal day in school without any disturbance but the duplicate won't stop talking.

"Fine be angry, I just want you to be careful about that man that you were following around." The duplicate says and turns around about to leave Jolt wanted to know what she meant by that.

"You mean the General? Why?" Jolt says to her, the duplicate smirks knowing she got Jolt attention.

"Thought you didn't want to talk to me?............ I don't know, he's strange suddenly shows up in your life and decides to help you isn't that a little bit mysterious?" The duplicate says to her seems like she was just trying to talk to Jolt for talking sake.

"That's literally how you came into my life." Jolt rolls her eyes tired of seeing the duplicate but this time it doesn't leave her alone and stays, one of the soldiers hits her door notifying her that it was time for school.

"I have to go, vanish out of my head." Jolt says then grabs a bag that was left for her yesterday night, they were a bunch of textbooks about different Supernatural powers but she didn't bother to check them.

"You know what? I'll rather spend the whole day with you today." The duplicate says happily knowing that she was already frustrating Jolt.

"I don't need you anymore, I'm finally getting training from the right people I'm ready!" Jolt yells at the top her voice to the soldiers so they could open the door.

Jolt was being taken to class in a carrier, she tried to look at the city through the windows of the carrier but was blocked by tall soldiers who stood in front of it. She was wondering who the other student was, she knew Lau and Aila were students there but they didn't seem friendly at all so she prayed that the other student will at least be accomodating.

"A royal ride for a powerful being, don't tell me you're beginning to like this lifestyle." The duplicate says it refused to leave Jolt head after Jolt had begged her multiple times.

"What do you want me to do? Force myself out of here, if they're going to teach me how to use these powers then I'll just stay." Jolt tells her quickly, the carrier stops they had arrived at the school Jolt was expecting it to be a really big place like castle she saw yesterday but was disappointed when she got down, she found herself in a beautiful garden with a man standing teaching the three students who were sitting on different chairs with huge tables in front of them. She breathes out calming herself down saying different praises to herself quietly.

"Good morning." Jolt tells the male teacher who wasn't wearing a shirt he was so big, muscular and was surprisingly welcoming.

"Hey! General Ze'l didn't quickly tell me about your arrival but I guess it's good to have you here........ Also I know about your secret and trust me it's safe with us here." He says and took her to a seat that was beside Lau, he had been threatened by Ze'l to make sure she felt comfortable in the school.

"I guess we're sitting together today, hi." Jolt says quietly to Lau she didn't want to interrupt the class, Lau ignored her and was hiding his face cause he had a huge bruised face but it was easy to spot.

"What happened to your fac..........." Jolt wanted to touch it but is quickly interrupted by Ailwa who was sitting in front of her.

"Can you just leave him alone." Aila says swiftly she had been hearing and witnessing all that was going on in the back, Jolt quickly apologize the day wasn't starting off well for her, the duplicate appears in front of her and laughs mockingly to shame her.

"So since we have a new student here, we're going to go back to the basic which is hand to hand combat." The teacher says to them but the third student who was a girl that Jolt had no idea of opposed to the idea.

"No way, why should we stop because of her? Cause she's special?" Her name was Igna, she sounded so proud, rude and arrogant she always liked to be the center of attention but Jolt was clearly taking that away from her.

"We have to accommodate her Igna, I'm sure it won't take a week a God is living inside her so she should be a fast learner." The teacher says gently, Jolt felt the same kind of pressure she felt yesterday like everyone was expecting so much from her yet she didn't know anything.

"Aila and Lau, come teach her some basic punches." Igna calls them out, they sluggishly drag their feets until they got to the center of the class. They took a fighting position and it began, Aila was slowly waving her fist towards Lau while he blocks with his hands this was the first thing they were taught when they got here it didn't look difficult in Jolt eyes but she kept quiet.

"It's easy for now but it gets difficult trust me." The teacher says smiling, he got a call from someone it was quite important so he had to leave them for now.

"I have to see one of my cousins, he just got here but you guys can teach Jolt right? I'll be back." He says as he rushes out of the garden, Igna majestically stood up and joined the other two at the center she had a idea to humiliate Jolt.

"Why don't you come and show us what you can do?" Igna says mockingly.

"You mean the punch? No problem, of course I can do it." Jolt says confidently not wanting to be shamed by Igna.

"I'm not talking about the punches, my baby brother could easily pull that off why don't we use weapons?" Igna says to her, they were a bunch of wooden staffs so Igna picked one up and tossed another to Jolt, Aila and Lau look at each other awkwardly knowing this wasn't going to end well.

"Igna, the teacher said we should do the basics." Aila says swiftly she knew the type of person Igna was and didn't want Jolt to go through any pain during her first day.

"It's cool, I can handle it."Jolt says confidently, she got up from her chair and had no idea how to use a staff but hoped for the best, it couldn't be that difficult she thought to herself.

"Ready." Jolt says as she stands in front of Igna who was quite taller than her, Jolt wanted to take a fighting position cause she saw the other two do it but before she could Igna used her staff to sweep Jolt leg and she falls on the grass.

"Weak!" Igna says mockingly and laughs out loud, the duplicate lays beside Jolt wanting to help her.

"Let me take over!" It says wanting to humble Igna but Jolt won't listen.

"Get out of my head!" Jolt yells, she quickly got up to hit Igna from behind but it wasn't that easy, Igna was able to parry her move and sweeps her leg on the floor again.

"Stay down newcomer." Igna says as she waves her hands around she wasn't paying attention anymore so she didn't even notice when Jolt pokes her staff really hard on her stomach.

"Got you there." Jolt says confidently, Igna got angry by the attack and everyone could tell by the way she held her staff as she was about to use all her force to hit Jolt, Aila quickly grabs a staff and blocks Igna attack.

"That's enough!" Aila yells tired of watching them fight, Igna realizes she was already doing too much but was proud to have beaten the so called special child.

"People expect you to unite the all the Kingdoms together yet you have no idea how to use a Bo staff." Igna mockingly tells her then goes to her sit, Jolt was disappointed in herself and felt so stupid Aila stretches her hand to Jolt so she could help her get up.

After awhile their teacher got back to them and throughout the class, Jolt was taught mostly basic attack and defense moves it wasn't hard to understand so she quickly got it but even after that didn't enjoy her experience. The class comes to an end and Jolt was so grateful but before she left she wanted to thank Aila for helping her.

"Hey................. Thanks for helping me over there............" Jolt stopped suddenly remembering that she doesn't know the name of the person she was talking too even though their teacher had mentioned her name multiple times today, Aila who was standing beside Lau chuckles.

"It's Aila and here beside me is Lau, just try and be gentle around here." Aila says to her, Lau waves and they both walk out of the garden heading towards the same carrier, Igna had left earlier no one likes her here so she saw no purpose in waiting up a minute later Jolt carrier shows up.

Arriving to her room, Jolt quickly jumps on the bed hoping she could just forget every humiliating thing that happened to to her today. There was a table filled with different varieties of food for Jolt to choose from but she wasn't hungry she was still bothered about how Tony was doing.

"Thinking about that boy again?" The duplicate says as it appears in front of her, Jolt didn't want to ignore it cause she actually needed someone to talk too.

"Yeah, I didn't even see the General today, I just want to know how he is doing can't you help me check?" Jolt says she just wanted to know how he was doing, she feared that he might be dead.

"That's up to you, I suggest we get out of this dumpster hell." Jolt didn't listen to it's advise, she believes everything Ze'l told her about ending wars.

"I can't, you heard what the General said my powers were given to GOBTU as a gift by the gods so we could end all the feuds between all the Kingdoms who won't want that." Jolt says conflicted about wanting to go back home or just staying here fully.

"And you believe that bullshit story you were told by the General?" The duplicate says laughing at how gullible Jolt is.

"What do you mean by that?" Jolt says swiftly and sat up straight ready to listen to what her duplicate was going to say.

"Your brother told you one story while the General tells you another, if you really want to figure out the secrets of GOBTU then you need to head to dark section of the GOBTU library." The duplicate says swiftly cause her body begins to fade away for some reasons that both of them didn't understand.

"Okay, how will I get there?" Jolt says but before the duplicate could say anything it's body had vanished from reality, Jolt hits her leg on the floor really hard.

The next day, Jolt arrives to class quite early surprisingly Ze'l is waiting for her at the garden and she was glad to see him cause she hadn't talked to anyone today her duplicate didn't show up for some reasons she didn't know.

"Good morning, wanted to check up on you and see how everything was going sorry I didn't make it yesterday had some work to handle." Ze'l says to her softly, instead of listening to the warning her duplicate told her she completely ignores it.

"It's okay, yesterday was fine I guess just that no one really wants to get to know me or even talk." Jolt says with a frown on her face.

"They're probably just jealous don't worry I'm sure you'll figure it out soon, the real training starts next week." Ze'l says to her trying to cheer her up, Jolt notices that he was holding a portrait of himself beside someone else.

"Who's that in the picture?" Jolt asked.

"Oh that's my elder brother, he died in the war was a very good person." Ze'l tells her and she felt bad for asking him about it so she just nodded.

"How's that thing that's living inside you?" Ze'l says to her trying to avoid talking about his brother.

"Well I and my duplicate we're almost getting along yesterday but it didn't come out today for some reasons I don't know." Jolt tells him, she was extremely confused why it vanished yesterday night cause she knew she didn't so anything wrong.

"When next it comes out, tell it I said hi." Ze'l says suspiciously and walks away from her, Jolt quickly remembers that she wanted to remind him about Zach but he had vanished out of thin air she wondered how he did that but there was no time to think it was already time for class, Jolt quickly ran to her sit.

"Today we're going to be learning about the history of GOBTU to prepare ourselves for the upcoming event next week." The teacher says Jolt was confused cause she hadn't heard anything about any event holding.

"Which event?" Jolt raises up her hand to make sure the teacher knew that she was the one talking but Igna answers instead.

"You don't know about the event the King is celebrating for you? That's a bit shallow." Igna says, she had a very annoying voice Jolt was learning to ignore her so she didn't talk back.

"Let's start the class." The teacher says, he begins to narrate some stories about ancient warriors of GOBTU who had seen the gods with their very own eyes. Jolt wasn't paying attention she was more concerned about what her duplicate told her yesterday she looks at Lau and thought maybe he'll know a little about it since he's the son of the King.

"Hey, do you know where the library is around here?" Jolt quickly says to him, Lau was confused why she asked him and not just found the library by herself he had no idea that she wasn't allowed to leave her room.

"Hmm I don't know figure that out by yourself." Lau says to her rudely, Aila couldn't do without listening to what they were saying.

"Why are you even asking about where the library is?" Aila says to her as she turns around to face them.

"I need to learn more about............" Before Jolt could complete what she was saying the teacher quickly interrupts them after noticing they weren't paying attention.

"Focus on the class students." He says swiftly, they all face him but Aila still wonders what Jolt wanted to know.

After awhile, the teacher decides to give them a thirty minutes break so he could catch up on stuffs from home. He left them to do whatever they wanted to do but told them to not leave the garden until he got back, Aila quickly went to Jolt table to figure out what she was talking about while Igna on the other hand couldn't stand them and took her chair far away.

"So what's this about you wanting to go to the library?" Aila says to her in a very authoritative manner.

"I don't know, I just want to catch up on history." Jolt didn't want to tell them why she really wanted to go but she also needed friends if she was going to be here in the meantime.

"That's a lie, everything you need to know about the history of GOBTU is in your textbook." Aila says swiftly she was so smart for her age and had read everything she needed to know in each textbooks Jolt sighs out and decides to tell them.

"I need to go to the dark section of the library............. GOBTU has some very creepy secrets that I need to figure out, my brother told me that it was the first King that initiated the war between all the Kingdoms." Jolt whispers to them, Lau didn't care about history so he ignores her but Aila claps back.

"It wasn't GOBTU, our Kingdom is literally the one that is trying to bring everyone together with your powers." Aila says rudely she was prepared to defend her Kingdom no matter what.

"Okay if you say so but I don't believe." Jolt calmly tells her.

"You come from the town while I've spent my whole life in the Capital, I'm pretty sure I know more than you." Aila claps back and quickly ran back to her seat she began to doubt everything she was taught and told about GOBTU.

School ends for the day but Jolt was determined to go to the library she knew she couldn't go there without a trick or two so she approaches her teacher to learn something very important.

"Yes sir, I know you said I should still be working on hand to hand but I discovered that I could teleport from place to place." Jolt tells him, he was quite intrigued and honoured to be teaching someone that a god lives inside.

"That's amazing, let me see." He says pleasantly but Jolt had no idea how to.

"It's a working progress, it comes and it goes I'm trying my best to wield it." Jolt quickly came up with a excuse, the teacher wasn't suspicious at all.

"Well just free your mind........... Only think about the place and you'll probably get there." The teacher says swiftly, he wanted to head out of the school to handle some very serious issues.

"What if I've never been to the place before?" Jolt quickly says to him cause she had no idea how the library looked so she couldn't picture any form of imagination.

"Well teleporters powers work differently, if you have a picture of the place then it should be easy for you just touch the photo with your hands, clear your mind and hope for the best." He perfectly explains to her and runs off. Jolt decided to go through her textbook this night hoping to find a picture of the library Aila mentioned earlier that anything she needed to know about GOBTU was written in their history textbook so she didn't expect it to be difficult to find.

That night Lau was sleeping over at Aila place, he had been avoiding his father since the confrontation both of them had. Aila was bothered about what Jolt said earlier, she was a learner she liked to learn things and wanted to know more she wanted to know if she's been lied to all her life.

"Will you calm down?" Lau tells her, he was bothered by the way she was walking around the room.

"We need to find out if she's saying the truth, a god lives inside of her Lau she can't just say something like that without it being somehow true." Aila says swiftly, she wanted to check the place out.

"I suggest we go to the library, check the dark section out and look for anything that we can find." Aila says boldly, it was a stupid idea cause both of them were known everywhere in the Kingdom.

"No way, it's late and we're going to get caught." Lau says swiftly, he was already in trouble with his father he didn't want to be in another mess.

"This is the perfect time, most of the Kingdom guards are at the site making sure everything is ready for the event next week." Aila yells him as she looks through her big window determined to find out whatever Jolt was talking about.

"This is stupid..........." Lau tells at her and before he could reason with her she had left the room through her window, he rolls his eyes not wanting to go but he didn't want to leave his best friend all by herself so he jumps through the window too.

Igna is having dinner with her Dad in a big dinning table they were sitting afar from each other and everywhere was quiet, her dad drops the spoon he was using so he could talk with his daughter Igna was hoping it'll be a question about herself but it wasn't.

"So this new student in your class............ How is she?" Her father says gently, Igna drops her spoon too it had been months since they've both seen each other and this was the first thing he asked her.

"Really? You left to another city for months and this is what you decide to ask me Dad?" Igna says disappointed but instead of feeling ashamed her dad just nods.

"She's not that special like everyone says, I took her down in a fight." Igna tells her dad who was proud, he always loved it when she accomplished important things.

"Now that is some good news." He says to her proudly.

Aila and Lau arrive at the library, it was a really huge place that was normally guarded by multiple guards but due to everything going on next week one guards watches the place.

"You go meet the guard while I sneak in and get what I need to know." Aila yells him swiftly but he refused quickly.

"Why me?" He says to her.

"Cause you're the King son, there's no way a minor guard won't want to have a conversation with you." Jolt encourages him to do it, Lau rolls his eyes thinking they were both wasting their time but he wanted to do anything for her so he approaches the guard.

Jolt on the other hand after searching through her textbook was able to find a picture of the dark section in the library, she had been going through the book all afternoon and night her duplicate still refused to come so she had to do everything by herself.

"Touch, concentrate and I'll get there." Jolt says to herself close her eyes then breathes out she slowly touches the picture and tried her best to not think about anything which was hard for her but Jolt was quite impatient so she tried her best to stay calm and a dark mist was slowly coming out of her body she didn't know that cause her eyes were closed the dark mist was all over the room Jolt felt like nothing was happening so she opens her eyes out of annoyance but to her shock she found herself in the library right in the dark section.

"It worked." Jolt says happily but her voice was quite loud so she stops, Aila who had already sneaked in was surprised to find Jolt in the dark section and quickly confronts her.

"Hey! who brought you here? I know they don't allow you out did you bribe some of the guards?" Aila says to her in a very rude tone, Jolt was tired of being disrespected.

"I can ask you the same question, I thought you said I was lying." Jolt folds her hand, Aila didn't want to acknowledge she was right until they found proof.

"Let's check this place out and see, what side of the dark section should we check?" Aila says doubtfully, they both spent an hour looking around for any form of clue but found nothing Aila was beginning to doubt Jolt but wanted to be sure that she was wrong.

"Maybe we need to read the books." Jolt says looking confused.

"I've read all the books here, if there was something strange trust me I'll know." Aila says then lays her back on the book shelf, Jolt was getting furious she didn't believe that her duplicate will tell her to come here for no reason but luckily the duplicate appears but it looked tired.

"Where have you been?" Jolt says to it swiftly, Aila looked at her wondering who she was talking too.

"That your friend there said she knows about GOBTU history then she should know about the "Akai lock move." look for the books of De'zar and do the move." The duplicate says swiftly it looks quite weak seems like it trying to spend time with Jolt yesterday affected it, it vanishes from the real world and Jolt quickly faces Aila.

"Do you know the Akai lock move? Try it with the book of................ De'zar." Jolt quickly says to Aila before she could tell her anything so she won't forget, Aila was shocked she knew what Jolt was talking about but her knowing about it surprised her, she leads Jolt towards two books

"The Akai lock move is a spell that was learnt in the early age when GOBTU started discovering magic, wizards and powerful beings used it to hide secrets it's olden magic not used anymore by anyone." Aila says swiftly, she thought maybe Jolt was actually right but they'll just have to find out Aila points to the two books of De'zar.

"We have to drag the two books together at the same time." Aila says to her gently, they count from 3 to 1 then both bring out the books. Nothing happened but after a minute the library book shelf splits into two and in front of them is a door.

"What the............." Aila says and quickly steps back a bit, she has never seen something like this before they were both scared but Jolt opens the door and it's a stairs that goes all the way down.

"Are you ready?" Jolt says to her, Aila was scared to learn the real truth about her home but didn't expect it to be really bad so she agreed they both go down the stairs together.

Finally getting down right in front of them were drawing on the walls from different ages in GOBTU underneath the drawings were in another GOBTU language that was used to communicate in the past, there was also a bunch of plates filled with liquid that looked like blood.

"I think I can translate this." Aila says as she looked at the words that were written, it was a little bit difficult but she had learn tougher things the drawings also matched the dialogue so it was going to be easier for her.

Years ago when all the Kingdoms lived peacefully together and the gods were still around to protect all of us, everywhere was joyful and peaceful until........... The first King of GOBTU wanted more powers and decided to take over the spaces of other Kingdom this act angered the gods and due to that they began to reduce the Supernatural powers that we're granted to our people which reduced our growth. Instead of pleading with the gods the King gathered all his powerful wizards, witches, powerful being and monsters then waged a war in the other Kingdoms killing multiple people, taking people away from their homes experimenting on them until GOBTU was powerful enough the gods later came to intervene and decided to separate all Kingdoms creating a barrier between all the Kingdoms this got the second King angry and he waged war against the gods." Aila stopped, she couldn't translate the other words but the drawings showed the people of GOBTU conquering Kingdoms, burning people and eating their flesh.

"I thought the gods gave me this power as a gift to the people." Jolt says confused, Aila was more concerned about the drawing she notices a certain someone appeared in all the drawings but she wanted to be sure.

"Couldn't be." Aila says as she squeezes her eyes to be sure who she was looking at, Jolt moves closer to her to understand but couldn't see anyone until she pointed on a man who was holding the head of a man while laughing.

"That's General Ze'l I can tell, he isn't just in this picture but he is multiple drawings spanned in different decades." Aila says to her swiftly pointing to the other drawings, Jolt couldn't say anything cause she was genuinely surprised her duplicate was right she shouldn't trust him.
