She entered the building with her usual looks. Wearing her office attire, white fitted sando, tucked-in on her black pants, top of her black coat, partnered with her high-heels. Holding her branded bag on her left hand and her phone on her right hand. She's intimidating! Employees and staffs can't help but to stares at the woman who's walking with class. She stopped in front of the elevator and slowly, turned around, "Back to work." She said then all of her employees' get back to their senses and did their own thing. Kerstin Olivia Savedra, the most high profile and one of the top successful business woman in the country. Also known outside the country. Sa murang edad ay gumawa na sya ng sariling pangalan sa larangan ng negosyo. She owns a lot of businesses, such as restaurants and hotels. Ngunit sa likod ng mga ito, there is something about her. Despite of her own success, there's something she cannot get. What is it? We all don't know. She stepped out from the lift when the elevator reached the 10th floor. "Good morning, Ma'am!" Employees and staffs greeted her and bowed down their head. She only nod and walks to her office. "Do I have any appointments today, Vann?" She asked her secretary as she open the door of her office. Agad namang sumunod ang sekretarya na bitbit ang mga folders na kakailanganin ng boss. "For today, wala naman po Ma'am. Pero tumawag po si Miss Jazz, they will wait daw po sa Left Restaurant." Sagot ni Vann. Umupo si Kerstin sa kanyang swivel chair at ipinatong ang bag sa table. "And here's all of the papers po na kailangan ng sign nyo, Ma'am. Also, -" Vann put down all of the folders on her table, then she paused for a while. Marahil ay inaalam kung nasa magandang estado ang boss sa umagang ito. "Ledisma Corp. set an appointment with you po, on Monday." Vann was shaking yet she still managed to deliver her words without stuttering. Kerstin fished one of the folder in front of her and started signing. "Did you accepted it?" She asked witout looking at her secretary. "No, Ma'am." Vann honestly replied. "Okay, good. You may go." Kerstin said. Vann nod her head and made her way out of her office. But before Vann can close the door, Kerstin called her again. "Vann, send me all of the files about Ledisma Corp. ASAP." She said. "Okay, Ma'am." Vann replied. Kerstin flashed a small smile and nod. Then Vann nod her head again before she went out of her office. 'What now? What is that appointment about?' She thought. Napatigil sya sa ginagawa at natulala. A lot of questions popped up in her mind. Then sadness flashed in her eyes. "Stop it Tin, wala lang 'yon. Wala lang." Saway nya sa sarili at muling tinuon ang atensyon sa pagpirma. Kerstin drove herself to her Restaurant. Kahit naman kase mayaman at kilala sya sa business industry, she has no driver. Sabi nga nya, she can drive for herself whenever or wherever she wants to go. She parked her car in front of the restaurant and stares at the name on it. Left Restaurant. Why Left Restaurant? There's a story behind that name. She stares at the whole establishment, thinking about something. Bitter smile plastered on her lips. "You're ready to for this Tin, yes you are." She murmured. Bubaba sya sa kotse at nagsimulang maglakad palapit sa entrance ng restaurant. "Good afternoon, Ma'am Kerstin!" The gauard greets her as he opened the glass door for her. "Good afternoon." She greeted him back. She roamed her eyes around to take a look on its designs, interior, displays and set-ups of the tables and anything. 'Wow! Congratulations self. You made it! I am so proud of you.' She said to herself and smile. This is the very first time na pumasok sya dito. When the restaurant starts, she's not there. Five years of its existance, she never tried to visit this, even on its branches. But still, she's hands on on managing those business. Good thing is that, there's a help of her best friends. 'Nong araw na nagbukas ito ay 'yon din ang araw na umalis sya. Then she promised to herself na pag bumalik na sya, she will stand her feet inside. Bravely. "They never fails me talaga." She smiled as she uttered those words. "Good afternoon, Ma'am! Nasa VIP lounge na po sila. Tara po?" A lady approached her with her bright smile. Of course, all of the staffs and crews knows who's their boss is. She smiled back and nod. Then the lady leads her to the said VIP lounge. -------------- "Tingin nyo, maayos na si Tin?" Tanong ni Alex sa mga kaibigan. "Siguro? Sabi nya naman diba, kapag bumalik sya maayos na sya. So let's just hope na maayos na talaga sya." Sagot ni Gesille. "Just don't mention about her past nalang, especially about her great love." Jazz butted in. All of them nooded their head as an agreement. "Alam ba nya na bumalik na sya?" Jordan asked. "Ako, wala akong sinasabi sa kanya." Sagot agad ni Keon. "As if he can remember every inch of her." Alex uttered on his serious tone. Sandali pa ang lumipas nang bumukas ang pinto at niluwa 'non ang kanilang hinihintay. Ang taong hindi nila nakasama sa loob ng limang taon. "Oh my gosh! Olivia is back!" Alex exclaimed and stood up from his seat. He then ran to her best friend and gave Kerstin a hug. Smile formed on Kerstin's lips. She missed them so much! "Hi! I believed I am not late, right?" She said as she hug Alex back. Sumunod naman ang iba at ginawaran ng yakap at halik sa pisngi si Kerstin. "Gosh, Tin! Lalo kang pumangit!" Gesille sort of joke. "I miss you!" Jazz said and embraced Kerstin again. "Welcome home, Tin!" Keon butted in. "Grabe Tin ha! You changed a lot!" Jordan said. "Sus! Don't like such drama ha. So, how are you guys?" She smilingly said as she seat on her spot. Exchanging how are you's and sharing stories filled the room. Maraming na-miss si Olivia on this circle. Sino ba ang hindi? Limang taon syang nawala. Though, there's technologies and gadgets to update them or her, kulang 'yon lalo kung hindi mo sila kasama. Kumain muna sila at patuloy na nagku-kwentuhan. Napuno rin ng malalakas na tawanan ang silid. "Oh my gosh! So you two are getting married and nobody told me that?!" She frowned then looked at Jazz and Keon. "Surprise Tin! Sorry na." Jazz consoled her and held her hand. She sly a smile as she remember something from her past. Silence filled the air. Alex faked a cough. "You okay, Tin?" He asked. She shrugged her thought and smiled. "Ye-yeah. Anyway! Congratulations, Keon and Jazz. I am so happy for the both of you." She sincerly said and forced a smile. "Thank you, Tin." Keon replied and hug his fiance sideways. "How are you Tin? 'Yong totoo." Gesille asked her. Tumingin sya sa kaibigan at pilit na ngumiti. Kamusta nga ba talaga sya? Kamusta na ba ang puso nya? Uminom muna sya ng juice bago sumagot. "I-I'm fine, Ges. Yeah. I'm really fine." She said then looked down to her plate in front of her. Nagkatinginan ang mga kaibigan, alam na nilang hindi pa talaga sya maayos. "So, you're staying?" Alex asked to lessen their sudden silence. "For good?" Jazz followed up question. She smiled and nods. "Then we should throw you a welcome party!" Gesille exclaimed. She shook her head and chuckled. "Really? I came back almost a month now, tapos ngayon mo lang naisip 'yan Gesille?" She asked sarcastically. "Eh sino ba 'yong busy agad pagtapak palang sa NAIA? Eh we didn't even know na you're here na pala! Kung hindi pa kami na-inform ni Vann, di pa namin nalaman." Sagot ni gesille na may tono ng pagtatampo. "Hon, 'yong puso mo." Singit ni Jordan. Natingnan naman sya ng masama ni Gesille kaya tinaas nito ang mga kamay sa ere. Natawa nalang ang iba. "I'm sorry, okay? Babawi ako. Promise." Olivia said. Totoo naman kase na wala silang alam na nakabalik na sya sa bansa. Sinadya nya talagang huwag ipaalam dahil negosyo lang naman ang inuwi nya. "Tin, clear your schedule next month ha. Let's go to Batangas!" Jazz told her. Tumango nalang si Olivia at di na kumontra. Nag-usap pa sila ng nag-usap nang biglang tumunog ang cellphone ni Jordan. Tumingin sya sa mga kaibigan at kay Olivia. "I have to take this." He said and excused himself. Moments later, her secretary phoned her too, telling her that the files she was asking earlier is on her office table by now. So, she bade her goodbye to her friends and left. "s**t na malagkit! Buti nalang umalis na si Tin." Jordan uttered. Nadako naman ang mga mata nila sa kanya. "Bakit?" Tanong ni Gesille. "Sya 'yong tumawag. Pupunta raw sya dito eh." Jordan replied. Their lips formed an 'o'. "Gago. Pabalikin si Tin dito!" Alex said that made Jazz glared him. "Are you out of your mind?!" She asked Alex. "Bakit? Wala namang masama. She owned this restaurant." Inosenting sagot ni Alex kahit na alam na nya kung ano ang ibig sabihin ni Jazz. Jazz sighed. "Let' just don't cross the line, Lex. Hayaan natin sila. Kita naman natin kay Tin na nasasaktan pa rin sya." Sagot ni Keon na sinang-ayunan ng lahat. "Fine." Alex surrendered. He is spacing out, staring at the wall. Nakaupo sa kanyang upuan at nilalaro ang hawak na ballpen. He went back to his senses when he hears a knock. "Come in." He said then the door swung open revealing his secretary. "Sir, they declined our appointment." His secretary told him. Kumunot naman ang noo nya dahil sa narinig. "Try again. Kulitin mo hanggang sa pumayag. I need to meet the CEO." He said. "Yes, Sir." His secretary replied then left. He scan again the files for the nth time now. Hindi nya maintindihan pero may parte sa kanya na gustong mapasok ang kompanyang ito. Hindi para kalabanin ngunit para kilalanin ang nasa likod nito. "I will do everything just to meet you. Trust me." He said as he read those files. ------------- Olivia entered her office, her secretary was following her. "Nandito na lahat?" She asked Vann. Tumango naman ito. "Yes, Ma'am." Olivia open the folder and scan it. "You may go, thank you." She said then Vann left her office. She read every details and reviews it. She place the back of her palm under her chin and think. The other company has a good reputation. Hindi man ito kasing laki ng kompanya nya pero maganda at maayos ang pamamalakad. Base on the files she reads. It has a better future. Of course, she know who's the CEO of that company. Kilalang-kilala nya. Days had passed and she's burried on her workloads. Ito naman ang buhay nya ngayon. Bahay at trabaho, mga papeles ang kasama. Nasanay na nga sya eh! She's signing those papers when her secretary barged in. "Ma'am, nandito po sila Ma'am Jazz." Vann informed her. "Let them in." She said not looking at her secretary. Maya-maya pa ay pumasok na sila Jazz, Gesille at Alex. "Grabe naman Tin, pahinga ka naman." Wika ni Jazz. She hilts up her head and gave them a smile. Tumayo pa sya mula sa kinauupuan at sinalubong ng yakap at halik sa pisngi ang mga kaibigan. "I have to Jazz, ayokong may maiwan akong pendings." She replied. She then motioned them to sit. They did so. "Wala pa ring pinagbago 'tong office mo ah." She smiled on Gesille's comment. Yes, wala syang binago sa loob maliban sa pintura nito. "You want coffee? Juice or something?" She asked them. "Coffee Tin, pagtimpla mo nga kami ng kape." Alex answered, walking around her table. She raised her eyebrow and place her hand on her hip, glaring Alex. "What?! But wait, what are you doing here?! As far as I can remember, man or men are not allowed here inside my office. Who let you in?" She asked him. "Ay ang sama! Kalbuhin kaya kita dyan?!" Inis na sagot ni Alex. Jazz and Gesille giggled and shakes their head. Bakit walang nakakapasok na lalaki sa opisina nya without her permission? That's another story of hers to tell. Olivia was alone at their house because her Mom went to New Zealand to check their business. No maids nor guards. Sanay naman kase sila sa mga gawaing bahay at hindi sila nasanay na umaasa sa iba. 'Yon ang itinuro sa kanila ng Daddy nila ng Ate nya na naka-based sa US. She run downstairs because the doorbell rang. "A minute!" She shouted then open the main door. But she was startled when she saw someone who just entered the gate. Then she remember, she didn't locked it earlier. "What are you doing here?" She asked. "I want to see you." He replied with a smirk. Nervousness started to rise up. "No. Go home." She said but he's walking closer to her. Masyadong mabilis ang pangyayare para kay Olivia. Her palm landed on his face when he claimed her lips. "Leave!" She said, full of conviction. But his fist met her stomach. She winched in pain and became weak. And before she knows it, nasa living room na sila. She's already half-naked. He claimed her lips, upto her upper body. At walang nagawa si Olivia kundi ang magmakaawa. Nawalan sya ng lakas para labanan ito. "N-no please. Please don't" She pleads but he only smirked. She was crying for help again and again. Hindi makagalaw dahil sa sakit na natamo mula sa suntok ng lalaki para manghina sya. Now she's all naked. He crawl on top of her after doing his thing on her sensitive part. He smirked as he made her legs more wide open. Unbucking his belt, hindi nilubayan ng mga mata ang katawan ni Olivia. Malaya na sana nyang gawin ang nais nang isang malakas na suntok ang dumapo sa lalaki. She can't move, but she knew that her saviour came. Her first love, great love came to save her. Then everything was black when she passed out. That's the reason why no man can enter her office. After that inccident, she was truamatized. Ni hindi sya mahawakan o makausap manlang. That made her Mom decided to hired guards for them, her sister went home to be with her. And he make sure that no one can touch his girl again. Not even the tip of her hair. "You still remember that." Jazz uttered as she gave them their coffee. Olivia just smiled. "Thanks," the three then thanked her. "That can't be forgoten, Jazz." She replied. She seat on the couch, facing her two friends whilts Alex beside her. "That was decade ago, Tin. You should forget that now." Gesille said. She smile but there's a sudden sadness "How can I firget that night, Ges? That's the night he saved me from that asshole. I won't forget that moment he came as my saviour." She replied. The three looked at each other, they knew what she meant. "Anyway! Clear na ba schedule mo next week?" Alex diverted the topic. In all of them, he's the one who don't want to see Olivia' breaking down again. Not in front of him. "Yeah." She replied. "One week 'yon Tin. So, if you have some important matters to do, do it na." Jazz told her. She smiled then remember something. She heaved a sigh, napansin naman 'yon ng mga kaibigan. "Is he - is he coming?" She asked almost a whisper. "Gusto mo ba?" Balik tanong ni Jazz. She shakes her head and avoids their gaze. "No, not yet." She replied and bit her lower lip. Hindi pa sya handang makita o makasama ulit sya. Dahil baka mas lalo nyang hindi kayanin sa huli. Natatakot syang malaman na wala na. Dahil hanggang ngayon, umaasa pa rin sya. "What if, magpakita ka, Tin? Baka lang kase." Alex nonchantly said. Pilit na ngumiti si Olivia at tumitig kay Alex. "Not yet, Lex. Not now. Not for now." She replied. Gesille and Jazz heaves a deep sigh. "Don't worry, Tin. He won't come." Jazz assured her that make her feel relief. On the other hand, her friends wants her to be better. They've all witnessed her pain, how hurt she is, how vulnirable she is. Though she is brave enough to face her own life, she's still soft on the other side. Ilang beses na nilang sinubukang ayusin ang kaibigan, ngunit lalo lang itong nasaktan. Dahil kahit anong gawin nila, they can't do anything to bring back what was lost. They can't do anything to bring back the most beautiful smile on their friend' face. They just can't. "Thank you for coming, girls! I really missed these." She said as they're walking to the elevator. "Of course, Tin! Ngayong nandito ka na, expect for more. Okay?" Gesille said and gave her a hug. Olivia giggled, "Ayoko umasa." Alex and Jazz laughed softly, Gesille frowned. Muli nyang niyakap ang mga kaibigan at nagpaalam. Pabalik sya sa opisina nya nang salubungin sya ni Vann. "Ma'am, meeting with Mrs. De Castro po." She remined her boss. "Oh, there! Almost forgot that one. What time nga ulit?" She asked. "3PM Ma'am. Sa Restaurant po." Vann said, at sumunod sa boss. Olivia check the time on her wrist watch, "Okay. I'll just get my things then we'll go. You're coming with me." She said then twist the door knob of her office. Vann only smiled and nodded her head. He's sitting alone while facing his laptop. Kakatapos lang ng meeting nya sa isang kliyente then he choosed to stay para dito na tapusin ang trabaho nya. The place are relaxing, the ambiance are perfect para sa mga magulo ang isip. He ordered another cold drinks and a sliced of cake. He stretched out his arms and roamed his eyes around, then there, he caugh someone few tables from his spot. She's with someone but she's busy with her phone. May kung anong pumitik sa dibdib nya ngunit hindi nya ito malaman kung ano. Pinakatitigan nya ang postura ng babae at meron sa loob nyang hindi nya maipaliwanag o maintindihan. "You are familiar but I don't know where on this earth I met you." He whisppered enough for him to hear. The woman smiled as she stood up and approached the old woman. But he saw thru her eyes that there is something in her smile can't hide the pain and longing thru her eyes. He is mesmirizing her figures, her face, her small smiles, her eyes, her body gestures, and his heart are saying something he cannot figure out. His heart is telling him something that he can't understands. There is something about the woman. "Thank you, Mrs. De Castro!" Olivia stood up and offer her hand to Mrs. De Castro which the old woman gladly accepted. "No, thank you! Miss Savedra. It's my pleasure to work with you." Mrs. De Castro said, smiling at her. Olivia giggled, "Likewise, Ma'am. Expect that we will meet all of your demands on this project." She politely said, then the old woman giggled. "I know, I know. So, I'll go ahead. May meeting pa akong dadaanan." Mrs. De Castro told her. "Sure, Ma'am! Mag-iingat ho kayo." Olivia said with a smile. Mrs. De Castro nods and left. Olivia sat again and sighed. "Nandyan na ba 'yong driver, Vann?" Tanong nya kay Vann na inaayos ang mga gamit. "Malapit na raw po, Ma'am. Hihintayin ko nalang po sa labas." Sagot ni Vann, ngumiti naman si Olivia at tumango. "Okay. Hindi na ako dadaan sa office mamaya. Just leave all of the documents on my table nalang." She told her secretary. "Sige po, Ma'am! Alis na po ako." Vann said which she nods. Olivia heaves a sigh for the nth time, then she composed herself. She stayed for the meantime as she drifted into her deep thoughts again. "Sabi mo magiging okay ka kapag nandito ka, Tin. You promised." She uttered to herself, not saying it loud. "You miss him, fo you?" Her mind asked her. "I did. I always did. And I miss him even more." She replied. Yeah, she's talking to herself again. He is part of this Restaurant. Kasama sya sa lahat, pero wala sya. Wala na sya ngayon dito. She hanked her phone and dialed someone's number. "I'll be there. Just open it and leave." She said to the line. "Yes, Ma'am." That's the only response she gets before she ended the call. Huminga muna sya ng malalim at tumayo, imbes na sa exit ang deriksyon ay minabuti nyang dumaan muna sa opisina nya dito. Habang naglalakad ay sinalubong sya ng isang staff. "Good afternoon, Ma'am! May iniwan po si Ma'am Jazz sa table nyo, kailangan nyo daw pong basahin kapag nagpunta kayo dito." Her staff politely said. She shook her head remembering that they're together earlier at her office. "Okay, thank you!" She replied. Tumango naman ang staff at bumalik sa trabaho. Pumasok sya sa opisina at agad na hinanap ang sinabing iniwan ni Jazz. A couple of pile of papers atop of the table. She sat on her swivel chair and checked every papers. Those are reports, financial reports on this branch alone. The she read the one Jazz left for her. Kinuha nya lahat-lahat ng 'yon at lumabas ng opisina. On her way out, she stopped and went to the counter. "I won't be here again." She said then turn around to walk away. Hindi na nya hinintay ang magiging sagot ng staff. Agad nyang tinungo ang kotse at pumasok sa loob. Then tears fell down her cheeks. Ano nga ba ang meron dito? Bakit halos lahat ng mga restaurants nya ay ayaw nyang pumasok? What is these story behind those restaurants? She parked her car on it's parking area and stared at the building. Ngayon lang ulit sya pumunta dito after five years. Bumalik lamang sya sa ulirat nang bumukas na ang lift at nagsimula syang maglakad. She stopped at the very familiar unit number. Where she is? She's in front of their condo unit. Her once home. She slowly open the door and memories came back. Loud laughters filled the whole unit as they are throwing nonsense talks. "Love, we'll keep this unit 'til we're old?" She asked him as they are munching their favorite midnight snack. Ganito sila, staying up late every Friday night which they called Fri-Date. "Oo naman! Why babe, are you planning to sell this?" He asked her then snaked his arm around her waist. "Nah. Naisip ko lang kase. If we have our family on our own na, syempre we will moved to our future house diba?" She uttered. "Hala?! Why? How are you sure na we have that future?" He joked, trying to annoy her. And as if a cue, she glared him and raised her eyebrow. "Why?! Do you still have plan to get rid of me?!" She asked irretatedly. Then he acted as if he is thinking. "So may balak ka talaga?!" she ranted. He sensed na naiinis na si Olivia at ayaw nyang mainis ito lalo dahil sigurado syang sa kabilang kwarto na naman sya matutulog. He tried hard to supress his laughter but it's useless. "Tumatawa ka pa!" she ranted again, then she stood up pero agad din naman syang hinila para mapa-upo sa binti nito. He plastered his sweet smile and made her faced him. "Tampo naman agad ang baby ko." He said and kissed her cheek. She made her lips pout like a baby. "Wala na akong balak bukod sa to be with you 'til the rest of my life and of course, we have our future together, Love. I am just teasing you, okay? And this condo? We'll keep this kahit na may sarili na tayong bahay. This condo will always be our condo kahit na we have our own children and grandchildren na. We will always coming back here because we once live here together." He explained. Her smile plastered on her lips. "Really?!" She asked with her excited tone as she eyed him. He nod and smiled back at her. "Kahit na ulyanin ka na? You won't forget this? You won't forget me - us?" She asked again as if she's asking for his assurance. He gave her a peck on her lips. "No matter what happens, I won't forget this condo, especially you. At kahit na ulyanin na ako, here -" He placed her hand on his chest where his heart is, "here in my heart, it won't forget you. Maybe mind can forget everything but my heart will remember you." he added. She smiled and claimed his lips, kissing him passionate. "I miss you so much, Love. I love you still." She murmured. She wiped her tears but its keep on flowing down from her eyes. She keep his promise, she didn't sell this condo unit. She keep it. Kahit na lagi syang nadadapa dahil dito ay hindi nya ito binitawan. She still holds on to their memories. Sabihin man nyang okay na sya sa harap ng iba, ngunit kapag mag-isa nalang sya ay muli syang nawawasak. ang again, she let herself cry more as she laid down herself on their bed. Matatag man sya sa mata ng iba, wasak ar durog naman sya sa mga mata nya. Olivia woke up from her slumber, then she remember she's in their condo ulit. She touch and caress the other space beside her. And another tears fell down from her eyes. "Cry now Kerstin , let that tears out. now. But when you left this unit again, try to move forward. Free yourself. Everything was in the past and you should face your present, you can't stay there forever. You just can't." She said between her sobs. Hours later, she decided to leave and go home. She stood at the doorstep and roamed around her eyes, again. "Memories will always be memories." She whispered before closing the door of their unit. 10:30PM when she reached their house, her family's home. Her eyes can tell that she"s been crying for hours. Her heart hurts again. Bakit ba nya pinapahirapan ang sarili nya? Why she can't move on and go on her life? It's just because she can't. but she's trying. Jazz with the gang are having their night out. Alex called Olivia on her office 'cause her phone was out of reach, but her secretary told him na may pinuntahan daw. and that information made all of them worried again about their friend. "Saan kaya sya pumunta? At kailangang off ang phone?" Tanong ni Alex at kitang-kita sa mukha ang pag-aalala. "Baka low-bat or may dinaanan lang na importante. She's on leave for a week diba? At hindi lang 'yon basta CEO, she has a lot of business to care of." Keon reasoned out just to ease their worries. "Tama! Tsaka sabi naman sa office nya may pinuntahan lang eh." Jordan added. But the girls can't help it. "Oh my gosh!" Gesille exclaimed, eye wided. "What? Why?" Jazz asked her. Gesille looked at her, "What day today?" She asked. Nagpalitan naman ng tingin sila Keon at Jordan. Lost at the moment. "Friday. Wait, why?" Jazz answer and asked the latter. Clueless. "Oh, s**t! No, she won't Ges." Alex uttered as he eyed Gesille. Tila nag-uusap ang mga mata ng dalawa nang magtama ang mga paningin. "Teka, bakit?" Nagtatakang tanong ni Jazz. "Hindi kaya pumunta sya sa condo? Friday ngayon.
