"Crysler. How's aunt Beth?" Janice, my girlfriend, asked while caressing my arms and looking at me worriedly. "She's stable now." I smiled at her and kissed her forehead. "But I need to settle her hospital bills. I need to find a job as soon as possible,” I said, and then released a frustrated sigh. My mom got a heart attack. Though she was stable, she needed to stay at the hospital to be monitored. No one would shoulder our finances. Our mom is the only one who's been working since my Dad died last year. So, I really need to find a job to support her and my younger sister. I looked at Janice, and I saw her looking at me while biting her lower lip. If she did that, she wanted to tell me something that bothered her. I knew her too well. We had been together for two years, and she was the best girlfriend that I ever had. "I-I..." she said, stuttering. She hesitated. I took her hand and squeezed it. "What is it?" I said, looking at her sincerely. She sighed and looked at me worriedly. "I'm quitting my job." My forehead creased. I knew that she was having a hard time working with her boss, but I couldn't believe that she would quit right away. It was just a week before she got hired there. "Why?" She frowned and let go of my hand. "You know why. I always told you how rude and grumpy my boss is. He always shouts at me, and I can't take it anymore. The last one just drained every patience that I have." I sighed and just hugged her. "Okay. What will happen now? We're both jobless, ” I said and chuckled a bit to lighten up the atmosphere. "Nope. I have been hired already, and you will be hired as well, ” she said while grinning. “You want a job. I'm offering you a job. You will replace me. My boss can't work without a secretary." "Are you serious?" I was looking at her while my brows furrowed. "Yes, dear!" She was smiling from ear to ear while looking at me. "Are you sure that a male secretary is okay with your boss?" "Yep. He requested it to be male this time. And I don't know why. Just send me your curriculum vitae. I'll give it to them right away." "Wow! You are an angel to me. I love you so much." I held her face and kissed her on the lips. "I love you too. I miss you, babe, ” she said, and then kissed me back again. She sat on my lap while I was sitting on the couch. Her hand curled up to my nape, and my hands instantly caressed the side of her hip. "Damn. I miss you too, ” I said as I kissed her hard this time. "I want you Crys," she said as she bit my lower lip. I opened my mouth and let her tongue touch mine. I entered my tongue into her mouth and licked every corner of her mouth, kissing her torridly. We both moaned when she rubbed herself on my crotch, and I knew she could feel how hard I was. We immediately removed all our clothes, and without any further ado, she was already riding me senselessly while trying to reach our zenith. *** It was Monday already, and it was my first day working as a secretary. I was on my way riding public transportation, a jeepney to be exact, going to IT Park. I took a 10-peso coin from my coin purse and tapped the coin on the metal handle above my head to create a sound making the jeepney stop. Doing what I did to the coin was one way of telling the driver to stop because I was going down. That was how it worked here in Cebu. I gave my 10-peso coin to the female in front of me, passing it to the driver as a payment for my fare before I went down. Wearing formal attire, black slack, and shoes, and a button-down pink polo that was a gift from my girlfriend, I walked towards the Filinvest Cyber Zone Tower with confidence when someone suddenly approached me. "Hi, Sir. Are you trying to find a job? I can help you to get hired right away through my referral, ” the woman said while smiling. I chuckled a bit. This was really what would happen if someone came here to IT Park. There were a lot of people who would approach you for a job because they would get something as a referral. "I'm already hired, miss, ” I declined politely to her as I made my way inside the building. I took one of my IDs out of my black sling bag and showed it to the guard, telling him that I was newly hired, and that I would be going to the 20th floor. They let me write my name on the logbook, took my ID, and gave me a temporary ID pass which was what I'm going to use in the meantime. They would provide my permanent company ID later and an access card, as they told me last week. I took the ID pass and hurriedly walked towards the elevator. I glanced at my wristwatch, and it was already 7:30 AM. I had thirty minutes to prepare myself for my post since my shift was at eight. I needed to make a good impression, and that was never to come to work late. The elevator made a dinging sound as it opened, and I needed to wait until all of the people inside came out. It was packed because some BPO companies were renting some floors of the building. And those who always approached me whenever I was there were from those call center companies. Maybe it was the end of their shift, and they were going home. Their looks were almost the same. Sleepy. The ride from the elevator going to the 20th floor takes a bit long. The elevator kept on stopping for almost every floor, and only two of us were left going up. Maybe she was a colleague? The elevator stops on the 20th floor, and we both get out of the elevator going in the same direction. "Hi. Are you the new secretary?" I stopped in my tracks and looked at her. She was smiling while looking at me. I smiled timidly, not to look rude to her. "Yeah. I'm Crysler, by the way." "I'm Clary. I was not here last Friday. They said that you were here with Janice." "She briefed me about the job she left. She also orients me on what to do," I said politely. "Yeah. I know. I was with the boss. Since he didn't have a secretary at that time, he took me with him. I'm his brother's secretary." "Oh! That explains why I didn't see you last Friday," I said, smiling at her. "Yeah. I got to go. Good luck," she said, giving me a wink that made me chuckle. I sat down at my post and turned on the computer right away. I need to check my boss's schedule for today. I haven't seen him. He wasn't here last Friday because he had a business meeting in Singapore, but it was stated in the schedule that he would be here today. I logged in first for my attendance. I logged in at 7:50 AM. It was ten minutes early, and I hope it would give him a good impression of me once he sees my login time. I checked his schedule first, and he got an appointment at 8:30 AM with Mr. Royce Tan. It was a breakfast meeting at the Waterfront Hotel. I glanced at my wristwatch, and it was still 7:55 AM, so I hurriedly went to the bathroom and peed. I went back two minutes later, and the phone on my post already kept on ringing. I hurriedly ran towards my post and answered the call right away. "Where the hell is my coffee?!" A loud voice thundered on the other line the moment I put the phone on my ear. I felt that my eardrum was going to explode. My eyes widened. f**k! I forgot that he wanted his coffee ready five minutes before eight. "I'm sorry, sir. I was in the comfort r—" "I don't need your explanation! I need my coffee, NOW!" he said before dropping the call. Ahh! s**t! I hurriedly ran towards the pantry and made his black coffee. I tried to remember what Janice thought of me. She said only one cube of sugar and three teaspoons of black coffee. I stir it in a clockwise motion as she told me as well. s**t! His boss was so OC. Damn it! Now, what happens to give him a first good impression, Crysler? You just ruined your boss's day. I knocked twice before I got inside his office with a mug of smoking coffee in my hand. I walked towards his desk, and good thing that his back was facing me. He was sitting on his swivel chair while pacing on the glass wall while holding his phone in his ear. "Here's your coffee, Sir.l," I said as I placed the coffee on his table. He turned around harshly, and that made me stand up straight in front of him. I almost gasped when I saw his face while looking at me grimly. s**t! He was mad. I'm dead.
