Dark sat on our couch while my mom was making coffee for us. I walked towards my mom and stood beside her.
“I’m sorry, Mom. I know this is so sudden. He’s just really persistent to come,” I explained.
“It’s fine, Crysler. I’m actually glad that you bring him.” My mom smiled and then tapped my shoulder.
We walked back to the couch while we brought the coffee with us. I put it on the coffee table and sat beside Dark.
“Here. I hope you will like it,” my Mom said to Dark as he pushed the mug of coffee towards Dark.
“Thank you.” Dark smiled and took a sip of the coffee. After sipping, he put back the coffee on the table with a smile. “Your coffee is really good, Aunt Beth. You could actually pass as my secretary.”
