Chapter 14

We reach the top of the stairs. There's a long hallway with six rooms on both sides. At the end is a beautiful arch window. The wooden floors are stained with cherry! Would you like to see our room? I nod yes. Levi leads me to the end of the hallway making a right. He opens the door revealing a beautiful king size bed with a cherry bed frame two night sides on either side of the bed with small lamps. I walk in and turn right seeing The closed doors I am walking over I open the first door which leads to the master bath. It has a stand up shower, bear claw tub and double sinks! There's an arch window over the tub. I walk over and look at the view. It's breath taking ans it all ours! I turn around and go to the other closed door. I turn the knob and walk into a closet. There's so much room! Levi it's beautiful. I love it. It's everything I ever could of ever imagined. Though I'm not happy that you did this without me. It's a wonderful surprise When are we going to move in? Well I was thinking I finish up my cases, sale the apartment and house. We start packing when we get back sending stuff as we go so we don't have a bunch at one time. Plus it's already furnished, but I know there's a few pieces you want to keep. Definitely and I think that'll work! Levi, I'm pressing charges on Regi Steel when we get back. Did he ever? No, not until the other day. I'm going to inform Jean as well. I don't think she knows about this side of Regi. How do they know him? Fellow college from Gavin's work. Jean said he seemed like a really nice guy. So I took a chance and it didn't go well now I have a stocker. It'll be ok though. I have you, Lea, Dad, Grace and all your other crazy family members! I love you so much. I'm so glad we came here. Why did I ever allow myself to almost let this woman go? I love her beyond words. I hope someday she can forgive me for almost giving up what we had. What are you thinking about honey? How lucky I am and how stupid I was to almost let you slip right through my fingers. I love you. I love you too. We walk down the stairs and Lea comes running towards us. Hi sweet girl are you having fun? She wiggles her butt in excitement. Dad? Yeah son? Where are you? In the kitchen. Ok are you ready? Yeah I'm coming. We lock up the house and I hand Dad the key back. This is for you and Grace in case you ever need anything. Thank you son. We get in the truck and head to Dad's house. So what did you think sweetpea? I love it and can't wait to move here! When are you guys moving here? Once we sell the house and he finishes up all remaining court hearings then we'll move.
