The scent of smouldering wood and plastic still permeated in the air from the school even weeks after. The burnt wood and twisted beams made it look like a skeleton overseeing some hallowed grounds instead of a place of education. The police officals have gone over the events, but Heather couldn't tell them the truth. Who would believe that a woodland god rose from the Earth seeking bloody revenge. They would all be sent to Westin Hills Institution if uttered. Instead the incident was chocked up to Maryanne starting the fire out of peer isolation and the fact she vanished. The police were out looking for her, but the records of her family and past were found to be fake. Everything about Heather's friend had been a lie, created by Esus. The whole explanation had been weak, but there wasn't much that could be done. Among the charred ruins where the god had fallen under the disco ball was wood and deer bones wrapped in vines. An explanation could not be quantified so it wasn't even questioned. In the end her mother still decided that her moving to the East Coast was the best idea. Her father by then had moved from the Cape to Boston for work. Heather stood in her bedroom her last bag packed, feeling tension grip her chest. Everything she knew was gone, all of it. Her friends, the world she knew, and even her own self. Shutting her eyes tightly she exhaled deeply. "You look incredibly pale..." the familiar voice was coming from her open window. Fionn was sitting on her low roof below her sill. The morning sunlight played against his hair, tied back with a ribbon. Heather looked away attempting to put on a brave face, she was certain he expected ger to be the brave, assured person Kell had been. "I..." she started, but suddenly felt strong arms around her shoulders causing a warmth to spread through her, heart racing. "Don't fret, the morning is wiser then the evening." He whispered, his breath hot against her ear, causing shivers to run through her, goosebumps rising on her neck. For a moment she stood there leaning against him, taking in the comfort from him. The teenager inhaled deeply, the sweet scent coming off of him comforting her. "Will you be coming with me? I don't know how my father is going to take this whole…insanity." Her voice sounded awkward. A chuckle rolls through his chest causing her to look up at him. "You are such a wonder. I told you that I made a promise that I would protect you. Where you go I will follow. " his fingertips pressed under her chin, raising her face to look at him. A smile spread across his lips as he watched her. "You need to finish packing. " he pulled back and shook his head. "We will meet again soon." With that statement he was gone like the wind. Heather was a bit caught off guard, but the encounter made her feel a bit better. Hurrying she finished packing and headed down the stairs. Her mother stood there, her face pained but she smiled. "Your taxi is here. I wanted to drive you myself, but I couldn't get time off. I'm sorry. I love you very much. This is for the best. Dr. Kay has written a recommendation for a therapist in Boston, Doctor Thesden will take good care of you. Your father and I might not get along, but he loves you. " she hugged her tightly. Heather went to the taxi and headed to the airport. Heather arrived enough time to go through security, wishing her mother had come with her. It felt incredibly lonely for her. She understood though after what happened, her mother believed with the backing of her therapist that she had serious mental illness, and with the school burning down that it was best she go, especially since it was Maryanne her bestfriend who was suspected. Boarding the airplane she handed the attendent the ticket and was pointed to her seat. A young man was sitting wearing sunglasses, tucked into the window seat. He was golden haired with sunkissed flesh. His green eyes gazed at her as she sat down next him. Heather placed her bag under her seat, trying not to stare at her new companion. "You look nervous. First time flying?" He inquired curiously, c*****g his head slightly. Immediately she picked up on the brusque Irish accent. "Yeah, I guess it's that obvious. What about you? You look home traveling." She remarked, finding herself relaxed in his presence. The young man started to smile and stretched his back, pushing himself up in the seat. "Oh, I like traveling here and there, but I'm heading to see friends in Boston. I'm Liam by the way." He offered his hand to shake. "I'm Heather." She shook his hand, noticing a beautiful golden ring on his finger. Slowly she released his hand and settles into her seat. Weeks had passed and she still couldn't wrap her head around what happened to the school, and the fact she was a reincarnation of a thief. The monster and magic was almost too much for her to fathom. She made mental note to contact Mr. Aldraven and the twins when she lands, letting them know she's okay and if anything from the eye had been uncovered. As for her crush, Sean back home she decided it's best to not get him further involved, she had looked into the face of darkness and didn't wish it on anyone else. The teenage girl hadn't realized she had dozed off after being lost in her thoughts till a light poke to her arm caused her eyes to flutter open. "Fionn?" She muttered running her hand over her face. "No, Liam, remember? We are about to land." He gave her an easy smile as she straightened up in her seat. "You were so deep in your sleep I took it upon myself to eat your serving. You don't have to thank me. It was fecking horrible." He laughed as she felt irritation rising in her. Instead of answering knowing what would come out of her mouth would be foul fixed him with a nasty glare, and turned her attention to the attendant going over the landing procedure. Finally disembarking she went to baggage claim hearing footsteps behind her. It was Liam following after her. "Come on, don't be like that. The food was awful I tell you. The potatos were starchy with wee pieces of black in them. I practically saved your life." He told her with that shining, winning smile. Heather rolled her eyes and grabbed her bag, pulling it off the conveyer belt. "Yeah, thanks for making me hungry" she replied sarcastically. Instead of taking the hint Liam puffed out his chest and smiled. "Your very welcome. Oh yes, here is my number just incase you want to hang out some time. I have to go and meet my friend. It was a pleasure meeting you. Heather. Did you know your name is also one of a flower. I hope we meet again, go hálainn, Heather." He said placing the card in her hand before grabbing his bag, walking away through the terminal .
