Despite herself, Lila did kind of look forward to the charity gala Blake had mentioned since the first weekend she was here. It didn't feel like it was going to be as high-stakes as the dinner with his family had felt, and she was curious to see what it would all be like.
Alli was at the penthouse again that afternoon, with Margaret in tow- not only to style her for the inevitable cameras that would be at the event, but also to help answer any questions she had for the evening ahead.
"I think these two dresses from the Dior cruise collection from this year look perfect for the event," Alli mused, looking through the dresses they'd bought last week, as Margaret busied herself setting up the dressing table with the tools she needed. "What do you think?"
