"I'm a bit nervous," Lila confessed, as Blake's chauffeur drove them to the city's natural history museum, where the gala was being held. "I read through the email Virginia sent me... Apparently a lot of high profile people are going to be there? And they said there were going to be celebrities like Narinna there too."
Blake looked confused. "Narinna?"
Lila shot him a look. "Narinna. You know, the pop singer you hear at every mall in the region?"
Blake couldn't help but chuckle, and the look she gave him turned disgruntled.
"You're sitting in the car right now with the CFO of Jung Corporations, one of the largest in the country, if not the region. Am I not high profile enough for you?"
Lila supposed he wasn't wrong, but still...
"But you're Blake," she said, tilting her head him
