Arden POV*
The day following the challenge was surprisingly better than I expected. I had called a pack meeting so I could introduce myself to the pack in a more official setting, one where everyone was actually clothed. It also served a few other purposes that I hadn’t discussed with anyone else yet.
Roman and a couple of his warriors stayed the night, but he sent the rest of his pack home. I knew he was doing his best to be supportive and protect me, but I nearly had to force him to stay in room for the pack meeting before he would agree to stay out of sight.
