The creature continued to look in his direction.
Presumably at him.
"Bit drained, huh?" Gian asked the creature. He
turned his head.
It let out a grunt of sorts, but certainly not words. "It does speak English, right?" Joseph asked Gian.
"Course. It's just being difficult," he said, putting his finger over the trigger button again. "Hey, say something or I'll be compelled to press this little thing
again
In a scratchy, tired voice, the creature said, "Who are
you?
"Well, I'm Gian, and this here is Emmerich. Joseph for
short."
The creature looked from Giant to Joseph. Are you
fools?
Gian scoffed. "I could be, but not this guy over here.
He's a genius.
"You are fools," he said.
"Why?" Joseph asked. His notebook is ready.
Without hesitation, Gian hit the trigger
