His pet
PROLOGUE Kyle groaned softly, his expression hardening the longer he stared at me,I shifted uneasily beneath his gaze.as I lowered my eyes gently towards his body,i noticed his giant c**k dancing and dangling angryly…I quickly swallowed hard and turned my eyes towards his… “Why are you always so aggressive, Uncle Kyle?” His eyes darkened instantly, turning toward me like a predator silently watching its prey before the attack. “Am I, pet?” My chest tightened heavily. “I told you to stop calling me pet, Uncle Kyle…” A dangerous smile slowly pulled at the corner of his lips. “Just as you can’t stop calling me uncle.” Before I could react, he suddenly tore off his shirt like a man preparing for war. The sound made me flinch. My lips trembled as cold fear crept slowly through my body. Kyle stepped closer. His sharp eyes dragged slowly over me and stopped at my trembling legs, while I struggled to steady my breathing.I swallowed hard but forced my trembling lips apart. “You’re scaring me uncle Kyle”. Kyle paused for a second. Then he smiled a dangerous smile that only made my heartbeat pound harder. “And yet,” he whispered bending closer toward my face, “you still stay.” CHAPTER ONE SERENE POV Whenever Uncle Kyle came, as I always referred to him, my father would always tell Alexandra my nanny to take me inside while they locked themselves in that one room I was forbidden to enter… Kyle was my father’s younger friend. Not exactly young, but I always called him that because he looked far younger than my father. He was also his business partner or at least that was how my father always introduced him. Kyle had this impossible composure he carried around whenever he visited. Tall. And honestly handsome. The way he carried himself always made my chest sink strangely. I wouldn’t say I admired him, but he always smiled at me playfully and sometimes came along with chocolates, not minding that I was no longer a child. Of course, I clocked nineteen this year, which automatically turned me into an adult. “Hey, pet… I got some chocolates for you this time,” Kyle said, staring at me with those attractive looks he always carried. “And I know you are going to love this flavor.” He handed me the chocolate and, of course, I collected it. They went inside for their usual business meetings while my father winked at Alexandra to take me away as always… But this time, his expression was different. Not as pleased as before. His face darkened slightly as he gave Alexandra the signal. Alexandra already knew the routine. She immediately took me into the room where I was always kept anytime Kyle visited for their business meetings. For some reason, I was never permitted to stay in my room because it was too close to their meeting room… I sat quietly on the bed, my attention fixed completely on my phone when suddenly— A heavy thud echoed from outside. The sound hit the floor violently. Alexandra quickly looked toward the door before rushing outside immediately. “Stay here,” she gestured quickly before disappearing through the entrance. I remained seated… But this time, I was completely distracted. I could no longer focus on my phone. My gaze remained fixed on the door Alexandra had left through… I waited for what felt like hundreds of hours. She did not return. My chest tightened strangely. Quickly, I forced myself off the bed and rushed toward the entrance leading into the passage… Kyle stood close to Alexandra. My father lay motionless on the floor. Heavy blood gushed from the side of his body, spreading rapidly across the tiles. My breathing stopped instantly. My knees weakened violently as I forced myself downward.I looked at Alexandra and then back at Kyle. Nobody spoke and nobody moved. My eyes shifted toward my father again. He looked stiff and Cold. My eyelids trembled strangely as hot tears rushed down my face. “What happened to him?” I asked quickly, turning toward Alexandra. “Why is everybody silent?” my voice cracked violently. “Why can’t you people talk or take him to the hospital?!” Alexandra remained strangely calm, her expression tightening as though she was hiding something deep,my chest tightened painfully. I forced myself up and rushed toward Alexandra, grabbing her tightly by the neck. She froze instantly, coughing weakly as she struggled for air. “What happened to my father?!” I screamed, my lips trembling violently. “Serene…” Alexandra gasped painfully. I slowly loosened my grip to allow her speak. “H-he was…” she stammered. “He was shot by some people… I don’t know them. They came in and shot him…” That was the last thing I heard,my vision suddenly blurred. Darkness swallowed everything as my body slammed heavily onto the floor… When I woke up, I slowly turned around and realized I was in a completely different room. The fragrance of the place smelled unfamiliar. My heart slammed heavily against my chest as I slowly sat upright, looking around in confusion. Soon, the door creaked open softly. Kyle walked in holding a glass of juice in one hand. I shivered slightly but quickly forced myself together. “What… am I doing here?” I asked in a trembling voice. “And where is Alex?” “Come on, pet…” Kyle said calmly. “I am no stranger to you. And of course, you are in my house.” “Don’t!” I screamed suddenly before controlling myself. “Where is my father? And where is Alex?!” My voice shook badly. Kyle’s face changed into something unreadable as he slowly walked closer to the bed. Without replying immediately, he slid open the wardrobe beside the bed and handed me an envelope. “Go through it,” he murmured. “At least it answers your questions.” My hands trembled as I collected the envelope and slowly opened it. My eyes scanned through the first page. CONTRACT SIGNED That was the first thing I noticed. My father’s signature was boldly stamped beneath it. My heart froze instantly. Still, I forced myself to continue reading from the beginning. Gambling. The word hit me sharply,my father was a gambler. Not only had he gambled with me… He gambled with everything he owned, both his house, his company. Everything. And he owed this man Kyle a huge amount of money. Money he used me as a… I suddenly stopped breathing and quickly turned toward Kyle. “What is this?” I asked shakily. Kyle gestured calmly for me to continue reading. I slowly turned to the second page. My eyes widened instantly. Take my daughter Serene. Do with her whatever you please till the amount is fully paid… My lips parted slowly. My hands trembled violently. I promise to make the payment before January 16th, 2025. If not… he should take the daughter and do anything he pleases. My vision blurred instantly,I quickly glanced back toward the signature, desperately hoping it was fake. But it was fully signed. My eyelids shook violently as I continued staring at the paper. “How much is he owing you?” I asked quietly without looking up. “Five ninety-nine,” Kyle answered immediately. I quickly lifted my head. “Five hundred and ninety-nine dollars?” A slow smile spread across his lips as he shook his head lightly. “Come on, pet…” he murmured softly. “Five hundred and ninety-nine million dollars.” My entire body froze. The papers slipped from my hand and scattered across the floor. I blinked repeatedly, trying to process everything happening within seconds. “You can check the amount on the third page,” Kyle added calmly. “Fully signed by him too.” He stood up and turned toward the door. “Where is my father?” I asked quickly before he could leave. Kyle paused slightly. “I guess I would permit you to see him at the cemetery before he is finally laid to rest.” And with that…. He walked out of the room, shutting the door heavily behind him. My chest tightened painfully. A cold wave slowly crawled down my body. Tears rolled silently down my cheeks as I hugged the pillow weakly against myself. Suddenly, I stood up and began searching through the room frantically, scattering everything around. The noise became loud enough that Kyle suddenly stormed back inside. He rushed toward me and grabbed me firmly. “What’s wrong, pet?” I forcefully pushed him aside, breathing heavily. “Don’t ever call me that!” I snapped angrily. “Where is my phone? I need to speak with Alex!” “Oh… your nanny?” Kyle asked casually. “You are not a kid anymore, so I sent her away.” My eyes widened instantly. “You sent who away?” I stepped backward slowly. “What do you want from me, Kyle?” “If you want your money like you claimed, then allow me work for it!” I cried out. “I don’t know the business you had with my father but don’t—” “Stop it, pet…” Kyle interrupted softly, moving slightly closer toward me. “You can’t pay me that huge amount of money. I am only following what your father requested.” My breathing became uneven. Kyle stared at me quietly before speaking again. “I want to keep you…” he murmured slowly. “But I still don’t know what to do with you yet.” I scoffed bitterly, rage burning through my chest. “What do you mean?” Kyle smiled faintly, his eyes still fixed on me. “You heard me,” he whispered calmly. “To keep you till I decide what exactly to do with you, Serene…” My vision blurred instantly.
