THE STRANGE BOY
When a rabbit is cornered it has no choice but to bite. Leo sat at the corner of a stall. One look at him and one could already feel sympathetic toward the seven year old boy. He was skinny and had unkempt hair. The clothing he wore did not even deserve to be worn by a beggar but what would he do? Passerby's looked at him with different emotions; others were sympathetic toward him while others mocked him with their looks. Leo had gotten used to those stares for the past one and half a year.
He never knew who his parents were. All he knew was that his parents abandoned him and was taken to an orphanage. He had fled there almost two years ago due to the constant bullying from other kids and some of the orphanage staff. He could not hold back his tears as he thought about all the things he had gone through for the past eighteen months but he endured it all. After all it was better to suffer in the hands of strangers than people who you regard as a family. Anybody who could read his thoughts will be mistaken to think that he is a twenty year old. Many in Saeileen city revered to him as the strange boy, and strange indeed was he because he appeared out of nowhere suddenly and became part of this big city.
