I swallowed the lump in my throat. Mia's words offered some comfort, but the fear still lingered.
“I just… I don’t know if I’m ready for this. Being a mother. Everything’s happening so fast.”
Mia smiled softly, her eyes filled with understanding.
“No one ever feels ready, Tera. But you don’t have to do this alone. You have me, and you have my dad. We’re here for you, no matter what. And when the time comes, you’ll be an amazing mom. I know it.”
