Tera's pov Three years later. “Mia! Can you help me watch Adrian today?” I called out as I hurried over to the oven to pull out the freshly baked bread. The warm scent filled the air, and from the corner of my eye, I caught Mia eyeing the pastries, her mouth practically watering. She could never resist them, no matter how hard she tried. “Why do you need me to watch Adrian?” she asked, rolling her eyes as she walked past me, heading straight to the fridge to grab some milk. “You’re not still going to school, right?
