Avery's POV
I pulled into the diner that the man had told me to meet him at, right within the timeframe. Heidi had hooked me up with two different cameras. One was my earrings, and the other was on my shirt. The other thing they did which surprised me and made me feel a little bit safer was a tracking device. It hurt like a b***h when she shoved the needle into the bottom side of my big toe, but said that if he used any equipment to detect one, it wouldn't be picked up because of my shoe and even if he made me take off my shoe, it shouldn't be picked up unless he had an extremely high-tech device.
