Avery's POV
I heard the bedroom door shut, and I let out a sob and the tears started all over again. I was so mad at him for what he did, but I was madder at myself for what I did. I feel like it was worse than cheating. I lied to him and that is not what I wanted to do. I opened the bathroom door and made sure that it wasn't a ploy to get me to come out of the bathroom, and it was all clear. I went to the closet and grabbed one of his t-shirts and pulled my clothes off, put his shirt on and crawled into bed.
I opened my phone and there was a text from Ashlynn.
"Are you OK?"
"No, yes, I don't know. The cop thing was fine. I mean it's not because I am also a suspect, but that doesn't surprise me because I may have threatened to kill her, but I didn't, so I'm not worried."
