Conrad's POV
When we got home, Avery went straight to the bedroom. I wasn't sure how to make this right. I knew I had f****d up more than I ever have in my entire life and I would burn the world down for her in order to make this right. I would burn the world down for her if she asked me to. It didn't matter; I would do anything for her.
I heard the bath kick on, and I wanted to go join her and wash her and care for her wounds that I inflicted. I wanted to make up for last night and show her just how much I loved her. I wasn't sure if the bath was big enough for the both of us, but we would soon have one big enough because I found the perfect house for us yesterday and I couldn't wait to give it to her. It was going to be a few weeks before it was completely ready. It was a new build
