Conrad's POV
My head was jerked out of the water by my hair, and I gasped for air. They pulled me out just as I was passing out. My lungs and chest burned like someone was holding a match inside of them, but my body shook with the coldness of the water. My heart was also pounding out of my chest. They rolled my body over and the rest of me submerged under the water. I would have gone completely under if it wasn't for the guy holding my hair still.
"I'm a little surprised that you were able to hold your breath that long. It's actually impressive."
