Avery's POV
My alarm went off and Conrad groaned. After dinner last night, we went to the casino and gambled, and I don't know how much we ended up spending or winning. I did, however, end up getting a little drunk again. I spent most of the day riding this nice buzz, and it was fantastic, but now I needed some coffee and I had some shopping to do. I needed a wedding dress, but I didn't want something normal, and I only had a few hours to find it.
After my shower, I quickly put on a pair of shorts and a tank top. Easy to get off and on to try things on. When I stepped out of the bathroom, Conrad was still asleep in bed. I walked over and sat down on his side of the bed and traced my fingers down his jaw, feeling his stubble and admiring his strong jawline.
