“Here you go, the Posey account.” I said handing Erin the large black ring file. She gave me a simple nod then put her focus back on her computer indicating that I was dismissed.

I went back to my office and lost any and all focus I had as my mind immediately went to Hudson. He was literally all I could think about, it was maddening.

Last night we got back from our date and basically spent the night in bed cuddling and talking. It felt so natural and right.

I looked up to see Hudson in all his handsome glory standing at my door. My mouth immediately stretched out in a smile and I internally rolled my eyes at myself.

"Hey yourself." I waved him over and he closed the door behind him then took a seat across from me.

He rolled his eyes at me then continued, "How about we skip the dinner at your parents' house tonight and we just stay in. "

Tonight was a Monday and we didn't normally have family dinners then but today wasn't just any Monday, it was the beginning of The Bachelor season and it had become a tradition between our families to watch the first episode together, it was like a small watch party.

Tonight was even more exciting because it was the beginning of Mike Johnson's season and he had been a family favourite since he was on Hannah's season of The Bachelorette, no one had missed the watch parties and I'm pretty sure our mothers would hunt us down then murder us and I said as much to Hudson.

"I just want to spend alone time with my woman." He pouted, "There will be many other watch parties and family dinners, Lord knows this family of ours can't stay away from one another."

I laughed, "It's just one night."

"One night too many, I won't be able to sit there all night and keep my hands to myself." he stood up and came to my side of the desk.

"We're at work." I whispered as he pulled me up from the chair and began kissing my neck.

"I don't care." he lightly bit my neck and I groaned, "I need to have my fill of you before this stupid dinner tonight."

He turned and put me on the desk and I moaned as I felt the cool wood coming through my skirt. We hadn't had s*x yet and the idea that it was about to happen for the first time in this office excited me.

"This is far from over Miss Moreno." he said after getting dressed then walked out as immaculate as he was coming in.

Later that evening I sat in the dining room of the Taylor residence completely checked out of the conversation, yes tonight was yet another family dinner and to be honest, I was not in the mood for it. I wanted to be in my bed with Hudson doing dirty things to me.

“You seem quiet tonight, is everything alright?” My mom asked and all heads turned to me.

“Of course I’m okay, why wouldn’t I be.” I laughed nervously, not sure why though.

Everyone eyed me but then dismissed it and went about their business. Hudson, Who was seated next to me lightly bumped my shoulder and threw me a wink and I grinned at him.

“You two are disgusting.” José mumbled opposite us,clearly still thinking about this afternoon in my office, he handy said anything to me all evening except that Hudson and I were a bunch of dirty pigs.

“Why did we come here tonight? I’d much rather have you in bed in bed with me.” Hudson whispered and I blushed then turned to him and in that moment everyone faded away and it was just him and I staring into each other’s eyes.

“You are so beautiful.” He said then leaned down to kiss me but was interrupted by a loud clearing of the throat by José and I remembered where I was and broke apart from Hudson.

“Seriously?” He mumbled shaking his head.

“Oh this is ridiculous!” Hudson exclaimed, “Parents and siblings… Katleen and I are together, together meaning we kiss and shit.”

I looked at him stunned for a second then smacked his arm “You weren’t supposed to tell them! Now see what you’ve done…”

The two of us were suddenly bombarded with questions and mom and Lorraine were talking about babies and weddings… As predicted.

“I’m sorry, I just really had to let it out.” Hudson grinned and I rolled my eyes, “You always had such a big mouth.”

“You love my mouth.” He whispered and I squirmed in my seat. Dinner and The Bachelor be damned!

“Hudson and I have to leave now.” I got up then pulled him with me leaving behind a stunned looking family.
