Chen Yuan finished cultivating the next morning. He slowly opened his eyes and was greeted by the warmth of sun, the birds chirping from the distance were like melodies accompanying the cold breeze from the mountains. Chen Yuan changed the style of his long silver hair and put on his white hairpin with dragon patterns then changed his White colored robes with dragon embroidery and patterns and dressed himself up with blue and white dual-coloured robes that Inner Sect disciples of the Heavenly Sect wore that usually looked plain and dull on others.
However, when Chen Yuan wore it, he looked as elegant and pure like a blooming white lotus.
Now that Chen Yuan is officially an inner disciple of the Heavenly Sect, he can only wear the Sect's robes within the Sect as it is one of the Sect Rules.
Chen Yuan rode his sword towards the Gong Palace and went in to his master's study. When he was inside, he saw Zhang Tianyi writing in a bamboo scroll, his master's handwriting was very graceful and smooth and Chen Yuan couldn't help himself but to look at his master more admiringly. Chen Yuan secretly looked around the study and just like his father’s study, Zhang Tianyi's study was also very plain and simple.
"Good morning Master." Chen Yuan respectfully greeted his master and Zhang Tianyi responded with a slight nod then motioned his slender hands towards a cultivation manual.
"Take it and practice." Zhang Tianyi said sternly while busily writing in a bamboo scroll and all this time he wasn't able to look at Chen Yuan who's face turned red from awkwardness. He wasn't used to this at all.
Zhang Tianyi acted like a bossy supervisor and Chen Yuan sighed helplessly.
'I guess this is really what it feels like to have a master.'
"Master I can brew you some tea." Chen Yuan looked at his handsome master attentively.
"No need, you can go back now." Zhang Tianyi responded immediately.
'Ugh, so cold.' Chen Yuan thought and walked out of the room dejectedly.
After Chen Yuan left his master's study, Zhang Tianyi looked at the fading silhouette in contemplation then later on, smiled uncannily.

'Divine Arts of Blazing Heavenly Fire' Chen Yuan read the name of the Cultivation Manual his master gave him and surprisingly, it was very well suited to his Celestial Phoenix Fire.
'Master really looks cold but he's very good to me.' He smiled at the thought.
Since it was Chen Yuan's first day at the Sect as a disciple and he was quite unfamiliar with the places, he decided to walk around and went to each peak to observe and at the same time, familiarize himself.
On his way to the Sword Peak, Chen Yuan saw a familiar figure he didn't want to see. Chen Yuan was about to turn around and walk away when the young man saw him and called out his name.
"Xiong Chen, Good morning!" The young man greeted enthusiastically and Chen Yuan smiled awkwardly in response but Hou Feng didn't seem to notice how uncomfortable he was.
"Where are you going Xiong Chen?" The protagonist asked cheerfully and Chen Yuan badly wants to decline but it would be rude of him to do so.
"En." Chen Yuan heaved a deep sigh inwardly.
"That's great! Let me show you around Yu- Brother Chen, I already familiarized myself around the places here since yesterday." Hou Feng almost slipped.
Chen Yuan and Hou Feng both walked around the entire Sword Peak and the entire time, Hou Feng blabbered on and on while Chen Yuan was becoming more and more uncomfortable.
After all, this was the man who might eventually kill him. Even now, although the protagonist is a realm lower than him but he was not to be underestimated. Hou Feng became second only in rank during the trial because he was able to defeat his enemies who was a realm above him. This also happened in the original novel, it was stated that because of his perseverance-honesty, it was just his protagonist halo and golden funger-, the heavens blessed him and so he was able to defeat his opponents but the villainous cannon fodder Chen Yuan was too prideful and was offended. Chen Yuan in the original novel couldn't accept someone who was as lowly as the protagonist became second only to him so the villainous cannon fodder started bullying him with his goons, thought of many ways to kill the protagonist but failed until he was able to trap the protagonist into the small world. Hou Feng as he was suffering many hardships during his days in the Heavenly Sect, it resulted to the protagonist bearing hatred towards the original Chen Yuan then finally killed him off after he was out of the small world.
After Chen Yuan thought of that, he unwittingly touched his still intact neck.
Hou Feng kept on chattering nonsense when
Chen Yuan suddenly looked at Hou Feng like he was scrutinizing him, and the latter became flustered and his ears turned red.
Chen Yuan looked closely at the protagonist, he was undoubtedly a very handsome youth. He was very tall for his age, Chen Yuan was also considered tall but when he was standing next to the protagonist, he could only reach his shoulders. His hair was as black as the night sky, Phoenix shaped eyes, high pointed nose and a red tear shaped mole under his eyes that brings more charm to his naturally handsome face. Chen Yuan also knew that underneath that robe, is a well built body.
'Wait, why am I thinking such pervy thoughts?!' Chen Yuan couldn't help but tense up.
He immediately looked away and a flush of embarrassment rose to his cheeks. This time around, the atmosphere became more awkward and this time, Hou Feng didn't know what to say.
Hou Feng couldn't help but secretly smile when he saw Chen Yuan's beet red face. There was an odd glint of emotion coming from his eyes that immediately fade away.
"I-I'm going to practice now." Chen Yuan stuttered and hastily walked away like a mouse running for its life, leaving behind Hou Feng who was still sitting under the Peach Tree.
'Ah, my Yuan'er, don't play with fire.'
