Its walls and pillars were made of pure white jade engraved with dragon patterns while its stairs and floor were built from the finest tiles and gold, paved with carpets woven from ancient beast skins symbolizing the wealth and power of the Heavenly Sect.

The Heavenly Sect have 5 major peaks with their own respective masters, four at each corner of the Sect and one at the middle. To the North is the Sword Peak, cultivators in the Peak mainly focus on how to attack fiercely, to the East is the Guard Peak focusing on defense, To the South is the Alchemist Peak responsibile for refining pills, potions and medicines, to the West is the Cultivation Peak focusing in formation or seals, arrays and refining treasures and at the very center lies the Main Peak where the Sect Leader resides including his disciples but the current Heavenly Sect Leader and his only disciple is very immersed in their own cultivation, always going into seclusion at the back of the Heavenly Sect, the Forbidden Land.

The resources of the Heavenly Peak were equally divided to the 5 peaks and a small portion goes to the minor peaks where the Outer Sect disciple resides.

The Sect Leader and the elders were already at the Main Hall of the Gong Palace. The elders were very enthusiastic to pick their personal disciples and seeing that there's quite a lot of talents this time they were very pleased, Chen Yuan has the privilege as the top rank in the trial to pick his own master but the elders still hoped Chen Yuan picked them as his own master. It can be said that all elders in the Heavenly Sect are very capable, aside from having a cultivation base at the minimum of early Spirit Sovereign stage they also have quite an abundant resources at hand. He was very handsome, tall and upright, one would barely think that he is the Sect Leader of the Heavenly Sect. In fact, The Sect Leader is already 300 years old but he still looks like he is in his Twenties, it was because cultivators with higher cultivation bases lives up to a thousands of years and they never really age not until they are at the last moments of their lives. There are only few of the elders that looked old either, it was probably because they already lived their lives for a thousand years and reached the bottleneck of their cultivation, no chance for ascension to Immortality.

When Chen Yuan looked at the Sect Leader, their eyes both met and Chen Yuan was a little embarrassed to look at the Sect Leader.

"Is that the Heavenly Sword Tassle?!" One of the elders recognized the artifact and all the elders and senior disciples of the Sect immediately looked at the Heavenly Sword Tassle at the hands of Chen Yuan.

The Heavenly Sword Tassle is considered one of the top high grade artifacts of Zhang Tianyi. It contains a spiritual power of an immortal and can be used up to 5 times, such a dangerous treasure is easily given to Chen Yuan? It can even kill all of them in the hall right now.

The new disciples and those who are ignorant or new to the Sect may not know how serious the situation is right now but those senior disciples and elders who recognized the artifact clearly knew the situation. The back of the Sect is the Forbidden Land, anyone who enters here without permission from the Sect Leader will be punished severely by removing their cultivation bases or worst, killed. Only the Sect Leader and his disciples are eligible to enter the Forbidden Land. It is said that there is a hidden trench in the Forbidden which was used in ancient times by the Heavenly Sect ancestors to seal a very powerful and ruthless demon lord and its awakening will surely bring chaos to the Human Realm that is why, the Sect Leader and his disciples guard the Forbidden Land and maintain the seal.

Ancient arrays were also set up around by the ancient Heavenly Sect ancestors so that no one can enter without permission and only an Immortal being or a deity can breakthrough the array by force.

Chen Yuan and Zhang Tianyi arrived at a small bamboo house in the middle of the Forbidden Land. The place was very abundant with Spiritual power which is really good for cultivation. The house did not have many decorations, it was all plain and simple compared to the Pavilion which Chen Yuan used to live in the Chen Clan.

"This is where you will stay. Since this is your home now, you can decorate it however you want." Chen Yuan heard his masters cold voice with a solemn tone.

Chen Yuan immediately agreed and looked at the surroundings filled with bamboo plants. The place was very beautiful and peaceful, he likes it here.

At the back of the bamboo house was a hot spring filled with spiritual water.

The Chen Clan which was supposedly the strongest Clan during the war didn't hold out because the Patriarch and his wife became deranged with the loss of their beloved son Chen Yuan, going into a rampage to seek for revenge after the protagonist but at the end, they were also both killed by the protagonist.

After the war ended, it was called 'The fall of ancient Demons and Deities' and also 'The fall of Chen Clan'.

"Shifu, why haven't I seen Eldest Senior Brother?"

Chen Yuan was very curious about his masters only one disciple. It was never mentioned in the novel but Chen Yuan heard quite a lot about his Senior Brother as the most powerful disciple of the Heavenly Sect.

Everyone of the sect praise him and even the elders favored him. He was also the only disciple his master had for the past hundred years making him a very important figure on Heavenly Sect. Chen Yuan also heard that his Senior Brother had a good personality, he had never spoken loudly to anyone being always polite even to those inferior to him in terms of cultivation or status. The elders also praised his Senior Brother saying that he was extremely a very good and reliable person. Chen Yuan looked emotionless on the outside as everyone talked about his unknown Senior Brother at the Gong Palace but he was also dying in curiosity.

"Don't worry, you'll meet him soon enough. You should rest now and come to me in my study tomorrow." After his master told him that, his master said goodbye to him then walked away leaving him all alone in his small bamboo house.

The small bamboo house was kind of dusty, it was probably because no one lived here for the last few decades so Chen Yuan decided to use some cleaning spells to clean his home.

Chen Yuan took out many treasures and things inside his space ring such as a canopy bed replacing the old bamboo bed in this small house, a wooden chair engraved with ancient words and seals to focus the spiritual power in his surroundings to the chair and he can absorb it just by sitting there. Chen Yuan also took out some books and scrolls and put it on the bookshelves.

Chen Yuan was busy for the rest of the day, taking care of his new home then after, he cultivated the whole night unaware that someone is watching him from the shadows with bloody red eyes...
