Sienna didn’t believe in fate. At least, she hadn’t before that night. As she walked home from school one evening, the setting sun casting long shadows across the forest that bordered the town, she heard something strange—a rustling in the trees, followed by low growls. Fear gripped her, and she quickened her pace, but curiosity got the better of her. She turned off the road and ventured into the woods, following the sounds.
That’s when she saw them.
In the clearing ahead, the Stone triplets stood, their backs to her, talking in low voices. But they weren’t alone. There was movement around them—shadows shifting in the darkness. Sienna gasped as she realized what was happening. Before her eyes, the triplets began to change. Their bodies twisted and contorted, and in a matter of seconds, they shifted into massive wolves—bigger than any she had ever seen.
Sienna’s breath caught in her throat as she watched the scene unfold. They were werewolves. She had stumbled upon a secret no one was supposed to know.
Suddenly, one of the wolves—Axel—turned and looked directly at her. His glowing eyes locked onto hers, and she knew in that moment that she had seen too much.
