Fenn took a breath, gathering the three men with their gaze. “Very well,” they said. “We need to find its nest. And then I need to open the Shimmer and take it through.” Fenn blinked. “I do not think it will be quite as simple an undertaking as that sounds. However. That is in essence what we need to do.”
Alec bit the side of his thumb and stared at Fenn. It was a nervous habit that he only employed when he was extremely tense. “And how do you suggest we do that? You need a map, you said?” His voice was flat and emotionless. Lew wished he knew what Alec was thinking.
“We will do what we did this morning. Will Grant and Lewis Tyler will direct kias to me. I will use it to pinpoint the exact location the Carnas is resting, on the map. And then we will go there, whilst it still sleeps.” Fen
