DESIRE
"Nathan," I blurted. "What are you doing here?"
He stepped in, pushing past Akin and enveloped me in a hug. "I've missed you. After what happened the last time, I thought I should give you some space," he let go of me and hands me the bag.
"What happened last time?" Akin asked and slammed the door closed.
"I wasn't talking to you," Nathan fired, he throws him a nasty look over his shoulder.
I could sense the tension growing between them. I started to feel nervous.
Akin advanced towards Nathan and I jumped in between them.
"Is this gift for Tara? She's missed you so much," I looked around the room and notice she was missing.
Where is she anyway? She hardly ever leaves her father's side.
"Come, I'm sure she'll be in her room," I grabbed Nathan's hand and pulled him with me.
