AKIN Getting out of my car, I ran through the lobby, not bothering to inform the concierge. The portly old man yelled at me to stop, leaving his station to follow me. I ignored him and took the elevator. Just before the door closed, I saw him speak into his walkie-talkie, probably calling security. Good. They'll probably need it because I'm about to make someone's child visit the ER tonight. The doors slid open and I stepped out, walking briskly down the hall. I banged on the door loudly but nobody answered the door. I banged harder this time. The door next to me opened and a guy in a Tom Hilfiger boxer briefs came out with a scowl on his face. He was lanky and had a full beard on his jaw. "Maybe you should knock harder, I'm sure the whole neighborhood isn't awake yet," he commented
