AKIN  Hiding just outside the doorway, I spied on Desire as she put our daughter to bed. The love and attention she showered her with made me remember the time when I was the centre of her universe. I'd give anything to be that again.  She pecked her on her forehead and whispered some words to her. Slowly, I inched away from the scene. Lost in my memories, I took a seat in the living room. Life has it's way of redirecting our plans. I thought to myself. Desire and I had promised each other forever.
